Witch Girl by Tracy Blackwolf

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Hello everyone! Here is my art tag for the blog today, I hope you enjoy.

So for the background I did the smoosh technique using both distress oxides and stains. once it was all dry, I dropped water drops all over it and let it dry. It gives nice splotches.
Next I Stamped the house. Then I stamped the Jack o lantern fence on acetate and embossed with clear powder- carefully as to not warp the acetate. And then I cut it out and attached with clear tape. Then I stamped the tree branches around the tag.

Then I stamped the witch girl and tied up woman, I fussy cut them and then painted them using Distress stains. I used foam tape behind them for dimension. Then I stamped a bat from the bat silhouette  image and fussy cut him out. I put the tied up woman behind the fence as I only have tape at the bottom of the fence and on the side.

Then I glued the bat to the witches hand and attached her to the tag. I stamped the spider and used black sparkle glitter glue on it and a glitter gel pen for the web line.
Once everything was attached, I used  staz on Pumpkin reinker to paint in the jack o lanterns at the base of the fence. Its acetate so you need a solvent based ink for that. Don't use a good paint brush for that though, it will wreck it. I have one I use for only those inks. Finished the tag with a plaid ribbon. And there you have a creepy Halloween tag!
Have A fun And safe Halloween~

KISSING SKELETONS AT HALLOWEEN by Fran Chalmers

Hi everyone!

Today I have made a Halloween tag! We don't really celebrate Halloween here much, but I love these two kissing skellies!

First of all I cut my tag and then used inks and brushos on a gel plate to make the background.

I then stamped the outside edges in purple, and used a background stamp for some texture

I added some dripping blood at the top of the tag and embossed it

I stamped the skellies and used a white gel pen to emphasise the bones.  I used a stamping platform to make sure the image was black enough.

I coloured in some of the dots round the edge of the tab, and then blended purple and black ink round the edges.

I used washi tape to ground the skellies and lastly splattered orange posca pen onto the tag, and lastly added some ribbons.

Stamps Used:

Other Items Used:
Gel Press
Brushos in Orange and Purple
Elements ink in Graphite
White gel pen
Orange Posca Pen
Purple Posca Pen
Distress inks in Black Soot and Villainous Potion
Versafine Clair inks in Fantasia,, Nocturn and Tulip Red
Clear Embossing Powder
Washi tape
Ribbons

See you next time!

Tired of trying to cram her sparkly star shaped self ..... ► Majo

                                                           Hello, my friends,

today I show you the cover I made for my “daily little book”. It measures approx. 8 x 6” and I use it to jot down information I get on the cats I accompany during their treatment.

I started by applying ink directly with the inkpad and added the “wall” with a stencil in the same color.

After stamping the lovely flowers, I added ink, again in the same color to the leaves. I added the doodle dots randomly. The sentiment is one of my favs, if shows my attitude, not always, but sometimes it reminds me to change directions.

Have fun.

I let you read the sentiment here:

Tired of trying to cram her sparkly star shaped self into society‘s beige square holes, she chose to embrace her ridiculous awesomeness and shine like the freaking supernova she was meant to be.

  I used:

 Doodle Flowers

Sentiment

Doodle Dots

Happy Weekend, find time to craft and enjoy the autumn colors.

Luv ya

The Witch by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello Everyone!

Today I did a post card for the blog project, hope you enjoy.

For this card, I started by spraying the card with Squeezed Lemonade distress spray over most of the card. I added some mustard seed around where I would place the moon. I then laid my solid moon mask on the card. Then at the bottom I sprayed blues and purples.

The very wet inks spread into each other giving a creepy vibe. I dried the card with my heat tool  then put the other part of the moon mask onto the moon. I sprayed some antique linen, dried that ,put mask back on and swiped some very light black ink over it to get more detail.

at this point, I stamped just the top of the house and the tree stamp twice. Then I stamped the bats three times and finally the blowing leaves twice leaving the center open for my witch.

I stamped the witch and fussy cut her out and then painted her with the spray inks and a brush.

I also made a scrap of fabric to put on her just for more interest. I used two layers of foam tape on her so she stands out nicely off the card.
And that is all!
Hope you enjoyed!

Witch with scarf on broom     12652
