Follow Your Heart by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello friends! here we have a simple but cute art tag...enjoy.

So for this I had a stencil made from thin wood- thanks neighbor-  and I laid it on top of the tag and sponged ink through it to get the background.
I just love the Kaleidacolor ink pads so much. Then I took some spray inks and sprayed them over the tag.
It does pool up a bit so I had to dab some off with a paper towel. I dryed that with my heat tool and then stamped the girl. because the gold spray is very heavy - lots of mica- I had to go over the girl with a black marker to make her darker. Then I painted her in with Twinkling H2O's.

Once she was dry, I used glossy accents for the heart to make it shiny and a bit dimensional. it doesn't show in the photos. I stamped the words and once the glossy accents was dry, I added some tiny blood drops confetti/glitter. I rubbed an ink pad in gray around the edges of the tag for a bit more distress.
I painted some ground shadow and that was it!  Fun, Sparkly, Easy.
I hope you enjoyed this quick art- stay crafty!

I am a Froot Loop ► Majo

Hello, my friends,

today I show you another page of my little Art Journal.

I used one of the images (Smirky Scribble Girls designed by Tina Walker) from the set 1517, masked the image after stamping and added two background stamps. I added some texture by stamping dots and little flowers, inked her hair and adhered the sentiment in stripes.

I used the following stamps:

Rays Silhouette

Waybill Invoice

Flower (Plate 916)

Sky of Stars

I wish you a wonderful start into the Summer, stay safe and find time to craft.

Luv ya

Not Yours by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all!

Here is my blog post for this week- In light of what's going on I couldn't help but make this tag.

So, for this tag I used Brushos pigments. I just love them. I used three different reds and a yellow.

I sprinkled  a bit all down the left side with more going out at the top.

Then I spritzed water onto it but not too much. better to add if you need than try to take it off.

I let it soak in a bit then dried with the heat tool. I then stamped the clock upside down.
I then stamped finger lady and open mouth , fussy cut them and painted them with Twinkling H2O's.  I put Glossy Accents on her glasses so they are raised and shiny. Then I went and printed the words from my computer. I found them online. Printed on A transparency.
I took the screaming lady from my stash of paperdolls and attached her on the back. Side note: When you're not feeling super creative, stamp out some images and color/ paint them and put in a box or bag so you have things on hand. Helps when you need a quick card too. I then put the open mouth on the tag and was happy to call it done.
That's all there is to it. Hope you enjoy! Until next time~ stay arty!

FACEBOOK FREAK by Fran Chalmers

Hi everyone!

Today I have made a tag.

To make the background, I used a piece of the weird plastic foam you get as packing in Amazon deliveries! It made a great pad to use to put ink on and gave a great texture! I used distress inks in Spiced Marmalade, Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs.

Once I was happy with that, I stamped the main image, and around it I stamped some background stamps for interest, then went round the outside of the tag with Gathered Twigs distress ink.

I stamped the main image on thick paper, coloured it and fussy cut it out.

I stamped the sentiment and cut it up, then stuck it onto the tag how I wanted it placed, having gone round the edges with Gathered Twigs.  I added an eyelet at the top of the tag, and put some ribbon through it to finish it off.

Hope you like it!

Nude Fairy by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all! Happy Spring!

This week I did an art tag- I hope you like it.

So to begin, I stamped the butterfly with staz on ink onto sparkle laminate. Any cold laminate will work. I also stamped the lady on heavy cardstock.
I cut out the butterfly and the lady. and grabbed a pair of wings from a package. Then I took out my leafing foils and opened it up, don't breathe or it flys everywhere!
Gently pull backing off of wings, I do half at a time and start putting the foil on. Make sure to cover it well. Then do the other half. I use a soft sponge to carefully rub off excess foil.

So you get Gilded sparkle!! Pretty! Then I painted the lady with twinkling H2O's.
For the background, I used Disstress spray stains and then stamped just the out side edges of  the nature collage stamp all over the tag.
Then she needed some mushrooms to sit on so I made some out of resin and a mould. I painted them with gesso and when that was dry, I painted with the H2O's.
Since the mushrooms were pretty thick, I used two foam squares behind the fairy to help her stand out the best. I also glued the sheer wings before placing her on the foil wings. Add a little moss the mushrooms, glue them on the tag with hot glue, then put her on top and that is it!
I hope you enjoyed my blog post this week...Keep arting!
