Summer....by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello all ! Hope you are enjoying the weather-we are! Except the mosquitos found me as always.

Hence my art tag for today....

I started with a mixed media heavy stock tag. I sprayed Three colors of Distress spray stains and then dried it. I then used a fine paint brush to paint the grass. I used two different colors.

I also fussy cut my lady and painted her. always make sure too paint the edges of your cutout. It makes a big difference. I put foam tape on the back of her so she stands off the tag a bit.
Then I started stamping some bugs around. I stuck my lady on the tag and continued to stamp bugs..
I used glitter glue on their wings and painted the rest of the bugs. I used my computer to generate the phrase and stuck that on and that is it!
Hope you enjoyed!

Stamps used:
Lady on scale   18492
Mean Mosquito   5958
Mosquito           1885
Fly                   18952

Other supplies:
Distress spray stains: Salvaged patina, Squeezed lemonade, Lumberjack plaid, tea dye, Rusty hinge, Twisted citron

MASTER OF DISGUISE by Fran Chalmers

 Hello everyone!

Today I have made a tag using a couple of my favourite stamps.  I love the huge clockface and the Whimsical Rat Guy!

To make the background I used acrylic paint sprays in Periwinkle and Emerald Green, mixed with a bit of water.

I stamped the main images onto the tag, then used Versafine Clair ink in Monarch to stamp round the edge to add texture and interest.

I stamped the rat onto some thick paper then coloured and cut him out before sticking him to the tag.

I used pencils and a gold metallic pen to enhance colour on the clockface.

I added some fibres to the top of the tag and a sentiment (which I made look like it was hanging from the clock by freehand drawing).

Stamps Used:

Whimsical Rat Guy 20179

Writing and Scribbles Collage 20695

Sky of Stars background 19819

Clockface 19468

Master of Disguise 18769

Other items Used:

Versafine Clair ink in Monarch and Nocturn

Acrylic Sprays (Lavinia) in Periwinkle and Emerald Green

Watercolour pencils

Gold metallic pen

Kuretake watercolour pens

Fibres in shades of purple

Perfume Lady by ~*Arwen*~

 Hi Lovelies ❤

Welcome back on this Blog!

Today, I wanna show a new postcard which I'd made for this Blog.

And that's the way, how I made it:

1.)

I use watercolor paper and VersaFine Clair to stamp my image. For this I use the stamp setter to help.

2.)

Before I color the image, I design the background. For this I first use watercolor paints from Lukas.

3.)

I wipe the edges even darker with Distress Oxide.

4.)

I use a mix of water and Perfect Pearls to give the background a water stain effect.

5.)

After masking the images, I use a texture paste and a stencil to finish the background.

6.)

When the paste is dry, the image can now be colored.

all stamps, I used:

- Perfume Lady

- I cain't wait

other supplies:

- Watercolor paper

- VersaFine Clair

- Texture paste

- handmade watercolors

No.7 mini slimline card by Cathy N

Good morning, all Cathy here with a slimline card.

I started out with some watercolor paper. I used 2 different pink distress inks, and I made the background.
I then took the cross marks background and stamped in a pink distress ink. After that I took the grunge 1787 writing background and the writing and scribbles collage and stamped it on the background.

Next, I added the rose image layered on black cardstock to the top and a pink dyed ribbon to the bottom and then I added it all to a mini slimline card base.

Tag Tuesday by Cathy N

Good morning, Cathy here with a tag Tuesday for you.

I started out with some white tags, and I made 2 backgrounds. I used distress ink to make them. I really don't like these tags because they have a smoothness to them that doesn't like to take ink.

This is not what I had in mind when I started making this tag. I happen to get my grab bag when they had a sale on them today, so of course I had to play with my new stamps.

I started stamping the Apocalypse and the Bullet Hole randomly around the tag. Next, I stamped the Gas Mask on some white cardstock and colored it with copic markers and cut out.

I then saw this embossed brick paper that I had left over from another card I had made and thought that would be perfect for an apocalypse tag Tuesday. So, I cut it down, so it looked broken and then added the Gas Mask to the front of it.
Lastly, I edged it all with some black ink.
