Follow your heart ► Majo

Hi, my friends.

Today I show you a wedding card.

I used the following stamps:

 World map

Banksy Love Bug

Sentiment

Flowers

I started by inking my background, and since they will go on a cruise I added some water drops. As an afterthought I added the flowers also, just to give my car a bit of “ground” and not let it hang in the air.

After stamping the beetle, I masked the image and stamped the map on top.

I added the sentiment and now I hope, they will like it and have a fun trip after their wedding.

♥ Please enjoy the summer,

find time to craft and stay safe ♥

Index card - Dream big

Hey everyone,

This will be the last index card for this year I'm sharing as we are in the middle of the last ICAD week. The weekly theme I'm following is all about music.

I did some grungy layering of acrylic paints for the background until I liked it and then stamped some sheet music on top.

The astonished boy looks a little like he could be singing, don't you think? So I chose him as my focal point. I stamped him on a piece of watercolor paper, colored him and cut him out.

I also glued down a few strips of sheet music and blended it in with more acrylic paint and some splatters. After drying everything really well (and still it hasn't been completely dry) I heatembossed the words "dream big" onto the card to finish it.

Stamps used:
Sheet Music Background (19557)
Astonished Boy (1061)
Dream Big (19047)

Other material:
- index card (3 x 5 inch)
- Canson watercolor paper
- Versafine Claire Ink (nocturne)
- Lukas acrylic paints (prussian blue, mauve, sand)
- ZIG watercolor brush pens
- sheet music

See you soon!

Bat Face Boy by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone !!

I'm here  on the blog today with a little Halloween flavor...Its my favorite kind of art to do...

I chose to do a tag..enjoy.

For this I did the smooshing technique for the background using disstress oxide inks.
Once they were dry, I took the spider web stencil and a sponge and dabbed black ink on randomly.
Then I stamped the spider across the top for a creepy effect.

I die cut some bats, stamped and fussy cut the bat boy, eye ball, mouth and moth then colored them in with alcohol markers.

I then glued the parts onto the die cut bats I used foam tape on the back of each piece to give dimension on the tag. placed them on tag and that's it!
Hope you enjoyed it! See you next time... stay cool if you can..

Be Adorable! by Fran

Hello everyone!

Today I made a tag with some very sensible advice on it!

First I made my tag and inked it by splodging distress inks in Seedless Preserves and Faded Jeans with water

I then stamped my background sentiment in a colour that matched but wouldn't be too overpowering

I then stamped my lady in another matching colour and cut her out - also cutting out the bits between her bent arm and her back, so the background would show through

I added some washi tape on one side for a bit of texture and interest

And finished off by going round the edge of the tag with Faded Jeans Distress Ink and stapling some fibres and ribbon to the top

Hope you like it!  See you next time :)

Beautiful Lady Retro Looking Up 8280

Shaker card by Arwen

 Hi Lovelies ❤

Today, I'm back with a new project.

I created a shaker card, including a little "make off"

But first - the finished card:

Close-ups:

And that's the way, I'd do it:

1.) I choose my images, I wanna use. I need my Staz on stamping pad, foil for my fuse tool and some embellishment to fill in.

2.) The second step - choosing my colors. I used Distress Reinkers and a waterbrush pen to color my images.

And that's the result:

3.) Of course, this project needs a background.

I choose a stencil, which looks like spiderweb, a Stampin' up stamping pad and Distress Reinker.

First, I color the whole background with my reinker. After finishing, I used the stencil and the darker purple.

And now, my card looks like this:

4.) Now it's time for the fuse tool :)

I fixed my card with little magnets and start fusing 3 sides of the card.

5.) This side, I left open - I fill in my little spiders.

After finishing, I fused the last side.

That's it!

Stamps, I used:

- Screaming Lady

- Crime scene tape

other materials:

- Staz on

- Stampin' up "elegant eggplant"

- Canson paper

- Distress Reinker

- Waterbrush pen

- Embellishment (spiders)

- Foil (Fuseables We R memory keepers)

- Fuse tool

- black cardstock

I hope, you like my card :)

See ya soon ❤❤❤

Starbound

 Hi everyone,

For today's post I have made and art journal spread in my small journal.

Here's how I made this:

I started with stamping the focal image with Archival ink and colouring it with watercolour markers.

I used Amsterdam Acrylics and a small gelli plate to add colour to my pages. I just roll the paint on the plate and then press it onto the pages. I used a bright yellow, a green and an orange.

I then took a brayer and some white acrylic paint and toned it down again. I thought the orange was to much.

I then added random stamping and some black paint around some of the edges. I used a paletknife to scrape the paint along the edge.

Next, I used a star stencil and white paint to add more interest and I stamped part of the main image onto the left page. I concentrated on the small text at the top and the bottom because I can't cute this out.

Next, I added a little more stamping, some black lines, I glued down the main image and added a sentiment. I also used part of another stamp; the word alien to add over the alien's body.

I used the following stamps:

Rest of the materials:
Amsterdam Acrylics
Gelli Arts Gelli Plate
Archival inks
Star stencil
Ecoline Brush Markers

Thank you for stopping by today.

Who's bad ► Majo

Hi, my friends ♥

My Teamie Natalie has made so many ICAD, I was already a bit jealous. No, just kidding. She's doing great art work.

I thought I might try myself and created one with a "wink" in my eyes.

I inked the background with 2 different green distress inks and stamped the star along with the little sheep.

After adding some interest with the doodle dots, I stamped the sentiment. I thought „fired brick“ was the right color to go with the green.

It’s a bit weird, but I like it, I hope you do too.

I have used the following stamps:

19944

20375

19822 from Plate 1471

19827 from Plate 1471

Enjoy the summer, stay safe and find time to craft. Luv ya 🧡
