Happy Place Sunrise by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

Today I have a card that is a happy place ....A house in the woods by the lake.

I hope you enjoy it.

So First I took Some masking paper and stamped the house in black ink and then dried it. Then I took my card and stamped the house on that and dried it. I needed a mask so I could have the trees behind the house.

Then I took the trees stamp and inked with several inks and stamped several times, filling the background with trees. some without re inking. once happy with that I removed the mask of the house to check it before putting it back on.

Then I took my brown dye inks and smashed them on something plastic- can be ink pad lid, plastic bag, etc. I spritzed with water to use as watercolor and painted the tree trunks. I did the same with my sky colors and  proceeded to color the sky.

I kept the mask on as I was painting to keep the house clean for a different color. I kept layering the colors until I was happy with the look of it all. Adding darker colors where needed like the tree trunks. Once I was happy with the trees and sky, I removed mask and worked on the house.

after happy with that I cut some black and some cream colored cardstock and layered it all for a finished card.
I love using what ever I can for water coloring. I love the way the colors blend.
I hope you enjoyed this card... keep arting!!

Hello, my friends,

It’s time for another page for my Art Journal.

This time used one of the larger sentiment stamps I have, I love the saying so much.

I started by applying ink using a stencil and stamped the sentiment.  I added the “frame” and the circles. For more interest I stamped the numbers and the small branch. A few spritzers of “inked” water finished my project.

I kinda love this piece

My Art Journal and the colors I used:

Stitching Lines from Plate 1459

MILLIONAIRE by Fran Chalmers

Hi everyone!

Today I have created this card for you with one of my favourite stamps.

I used a background that I had in my stash, which I made with acrylic paints on a gelli plate.

I added some background stamps, both in black and white ink, to add some texture

I also used a diamond stencil with a contrasting colour

I stamped the main image on thick paper, coloured and fussy cut

I mounted the stamp onto the sentiment stamp, which I had stamped on white card and edged with distress ink (I also coloured the word DARLING in purple pencil).  I went round the edges with Black Soot distress ink, and mounted onto a black card blank.  Lastly, I used glossy accent on her sunglasses.

Hope you like it! Here's what I used......

Stamps Used:

Other items used:
Black base card
Memento Ink in Black
Distress inks in Villainous Potion and Black Soot

Banksy wasn't here

 Hello everyone,

For today's project I have made an art journal spread.

here's how I made it:

I painted the pages with acrylic paint, making sure to leave some white space. I then added some background stamping using the same paint, white paint and inks. If you do use paint to stamp, make sure to clean your stamps straight away because if it dries you'll have a very hard job removing it.

Next I stamped Dali and the peace symbol. Because I don't have a decent red ink pad for stamping I had to use the Distress Ink one. These are really not suitable for stamping, especially on acrylic paint. That's why it looks so patchy. I later rectified this by going over the images with a Copic Marker. This is also not a good idea as Copics don't like being used over acrylic.
I also stamped Dali on a piece of card stock and coloured him with Copics and cut him out.

Here you can see it all put together.

I used the following stamps:

I also used:
Acrylic paint
Copic Markers
Versafine Clair ink

Thank you for stopping by today !

Follow your heart ► Majo

Hello, my friends,

It’s time for another page for my Art Journal.

I have used some of my Banksy stamps, which I hadn’t had my hands on for a long time.

I started by stamping the frame, added the lovely girls and the cross stitch for more color.

I stamped the sentiment 4 times without inking in between, I just love the effect, so old, and still good.

Some spritzing with dilluted ink finished my page.

I hope you like it, and here are the stamps I used:

Girl with heart

Girl with balloons

Smear/Smudge (Frame)

Sentiment

Cross stitch

My friends, I wish you wonderful time,

stay safe and find time to craft ♥

 Luv ya ♥

MY FAVOURITE HUMAN by Fran Chalmers

Hello everyone!

Today I have made a card for a boy or a man (or a girl!) which I hope you like.

First of all I embossed the circuit board a few times on black card with silver embossing powder

I then stamped the robot on thick paper, coloured him in and fussy cut him out

After I had cut the robot out I stuck him on the black card and added a sentiment, which I mounted on silver card.

I then used fabric paints to add colour to the circles at the end of the wires.  Once they were dry, I mounted the black card onto silver card, and then onto a blue card blank.
