Steampunk Swan Ship by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all !! Hope you are doing well.

Here is my card for the blog this week~ hope you enjoy.

For this card I used a multi colored ink pad and a sponge to pounce on the color for half the card. Cover the other half with a scrap paper to keep clean. Then I used a stencil that had various sizes of circles and sponged some blue color through that. Next I sprayed some yellow for the sky. The spray made my circles run so I dabbed with a paper towel.

While that dried, I stamped the swan boat and fussy cut it out. I then colored and painted the image with alcohol inks and pearl ex water colors. I grabbed a resin wing from my stash and painted it with rose gold acrylic paint and added  a blue spritz of ink to match the body.

I used silver and gold sparkle gel pens for the spokes and wires. I also added some glimmer spots with the silver pen. I decided where to place the swan boat and then stamped the tentacles before gluing anything down. I also stamped the moon phases in the sky at that time. When it all looked as I wised, 

I glued it down with hot glue and some foam tape.

I attached the final card to some black cardstock, added an eye to the swan and called it done!

I created a new creature from several stamps .

I stucked the creature with 3D pads so it pops out of the background :)

 Good morning, my friends ♥

 Today I show you another addition to my canvas quartet, which I started as a triple.

 

 I started it last year and three are already hanging on the wall of my studio.

 

I started with distress ink in warm red and yellow and left out a part in the middle. I stamped the lady on tissue paper and used Mod Podge Matte to adhere it to my canvas.

 I used the same colors distress ink to color her dress and hair.  

After stamping the sentiment, I cut it apart to fit the space on the canvas.

  For more interest I spritzed some ink on top, added the wooden charms, the metal ring and string and ready is my little canvas to join the other three.

Simple tag - paper planes

Hi everyone,

It's me again with a new tag for you.

I recently cleaned my stencil with some Distress Stain spray in prize ribbon on it on a piece of watercolor paper. When I was thinking about what to creat for today's post, this paper caught my eye and I cut a tag as well as some smaller rectangles from it.
If you don't have a paper like this ready on your desk, you can always start with doing some reverse stenciling or use a patterned paper instead.

With a dark blue ink I stamped the row of numbers onto some spots of the tag and parts of the typeset scallop onto the rectangles. Then I distressed the edges of the rectangles a bit and inked them as well as the tag's edges themselves with some black ink.

I stamped the paper plane as well as a matching text onto watercolor paper and cut it out. I inked the edges of the plane with a black marker and the quote with a blending tool.
Then I assembled the tag by gluing down the rectangles, the plane and the quote and added everything to a base cut from black cardtock. As a finishing touch I added a ribbon.

PARTY ANIMAL by Fran

Hello eveyone! 

Today  I have made a card for all you party animals out there, what with New Year on the horizon! 

First of all I made a couple of masks out of the Twilight Zone Swirl stamp.

I then stamped the swirl in different colours, using the masks so I could overlap the stamps.

I stamped the dog on thick paper and coloured him in with pencils.

 I had a wooden word "Party" in my stash, which I coloured with Posca Pen.

Using Idea-ology Label Letters, I made the word "Animal" on a piece of thick paper and then cut the whole thing out.

I added the "Sometimes I Like to Drink" thought stamp too

I put some chevron washi tape under the dog and stuck everything onto the card.  I then mounted it onto black card.

Hello All!! So Sorry for the delay- seems I have come down with an illness. So much for holiday plans....

Any way, here is my blog for today. A quick and festive card.

I used a tag and sprinkled some brushos on around three sides. I used black and Cobalt Blue. Then I sprayed the same area with two colors of disstress spray stain.

Then I Dabbed away the excess ink with a paper towel, and stamped the image in black using a lot of the white area. I also stamped sky of stars using a multi colored pad and stamped the top and bottom of the card. I found some  sparkle sticky acetate in my stash and glued it onto a window frame chip board.  I used foam tape to stand it off  the card.

I used stunning snowflake thinlits and Snowflake 3D Impresslits To give the card a festive seasonal look and glued them on behind and on the corner of the card.

Tis the season

 Hello everyone, 

For today's project I have made a postcard. It is Christmas themed, well sort of.....

Here's how I made it:

I stamped the stars with VersaMark ink and heat embossed them with white powder. I then dunked the card into Distress Ink and water; I used Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I 

Next I stamped randomly over the top using and inked the edges with Black Soot. 

Next I stamped, coloured and cut out the images I was going to use. I used Distress Inks again for painting. Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo for the skin, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire for her dress. The top of the hat was stamped with red Distress Oxide (Fired Brick) and I added some shading to it with Copics. I then glued the red top over the black stamped one. 

Next thing was assembling. I put some washi tape at the bottom for her the lean on. I then glued all the elements on the card.
