 Hello Everyone!! Happy Fall!

I made a card for my project today~Enjoy!

For the background I used Three mica stain sprays. I started with the yellow, Then covered it while I sprayed the Orange one  And then sprayed the iron one. I used a paint brush to move them around the card to get the coverage I wanted.

I dried it with the heat tool and then I sprayed some water drops all around the card. to get the mottled look.

While I waited for that to do its thing, I fussy cut all the skulls and bones. Good thing I have many years of practice with that because that little skeleton was a challenge.

I used three colors of distress spray stain as watercolor paints for all of the bones.

The bottom skull is taped flat, then all others have foam tape with the skeleton have two layers. I wish the dimension showed better in photos.

I debated having a spider hanging from his hand, would be cute yet I like the simplicity of it as is.

 Hello all!

Well I'm in full fall mode on the creative side.... enjoy.

For this tag, I started with stamping the chandelier. Then  a light gray spray stain and added black around the edges with a small brush. While that dried, I stamped all of my images to be fussy cut and did that. I used the spider with lady and the realistic skull together for my spinsters.

One spinster got one layer of foam tape and the other got three layers. I fluff the legs by bending them a bit so they are not so flat, I just roll them over my finger. Then I paint them.

Once my tag was dry, I stamped the rest of the spiders and painted the flames on the candles of the chandelier. I love how the water made the yellow paint run a bit like the flame is blowing from an unseen source of air.

I also went over the webs with a glitter gel pen  Before attaching the spider skulls, I added some spider web material to the scene. I used a dab of hot glue on the back to attach them.

Last I got out my Halloween sticker book for the creepy words. I do use glue on the back of them as they tend to come off over time sometimes.

 Hello all! Here is my project for this weeks blog. Hope you enjoy.

So for this project, my main base is a resin frame I made. 

I painted it with white gesso and then used spray stains to add color.

I dried it with my heat tool and then glued on the resin skulls and also painted them.

I painted the voodoo man with twinkling H2os  and fussy cut him out. for his skull face Used pearl x watercolors as the white is very white. The brown inks I used for the part of his face that is not skull like.

Its hard to see on the photos but hopefully you can see well enough. After his paint job, I stamped and fussy cut and painted the skull and bones. I found a plastic snake in my stash and ended having to cut him in half to get him to lay the right way. love that hot glue gun! You can see the bottom half of the snake glued on the back of the frame. 

 

Once I got my parts done and voodoo man put on the frame I finished putting the rest of the embellishments on. some creepy candles, some moss, a resin bone, a resin crow for his hat. The realistic skull peeking from behind the frame....

And that is it! Done!
