Hello my friends,
with summer almost in
full swing, I’d like to take you to the ocean.
I wish I could dive, because this
is how I would picture all the colors and scenes under water. Just light, maybe
depending where you dive, and a bit shiny, very mystic with lovely creatures
that wouldn’t do me any harm.
I started by applying distress ink
to my panel using an acrylic block and some water. Each time making sure the color
was dry before adding the next. If you don’t do this, you get just a muddy
“something”.
I used Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lila, Spun Sugar and Bundles Sage. This is a very
simple technique and it doesn’t look too solid, water doesn’t, so that was my
idea behind this.
After spritzing some ink on the panel, I stamped the jelly fish and added some
colour (Spun Sugar) to it also. I stamped the sentiment and the doodle dots and
matted the panel with according card stock before adhering it to my card.
Some close ups for you ….
I have used the following stamps:
Thanks so much for stopping by,
stay safe and have a great time crafting ♥
