Happy Birthday by Cathy N

Good morning, Cathy here with a birthday card for you.

                                                                  Stamps Used:

                                                           16341 slice of cake

                                                           17545 grunge writing background

                                                          20163 typeset scallop

                                                           20574 round brushstrokes small

I started out making the background with 2 distress oxide colors.

After I finished the background, I stamped typeset scallop on the top in black ink.

I then started on the background. I stamped the round brushstrokes small in teal ink and I stamped grunge writing background in a brown distress oxide ink.

Next, I stamped slice of cake in teal ink and cut out. I added some white gel pen highlights to the slice.

Lastly, I added an die cut sentiment of Happy Birthday to the front.

Grungy Vintage Mixed Media Card by Preeti D.

Hi friends :)
Hope you are doing well.
Preeti Datta (Dutt Preety) here from the VLVS! Design Team.
For today's post, I've created a Grungy Vintage Mixed Media Card.
I've used some gorgeous VLVS! Rubber Stamps here.

I created the background by adhering design tapes to a panel of watercolour paper and then applied clear gesso on top.

Then, to add colour used distress inks and Oil Pastels.

Next, stamped the background using various archival inkpads and gorgeous rubber stamps by VLVS!

Then stamped the focal image and quote, fussy cut them and distressed their edges with Vintage Photo archival ink.

Next, adhered black die cuts, the stamped image and quote to the card. Also, created white, black and brown ink splatter.

Distressed the edges of the panel using vintage photo distress ink and then matted the panel in black and kraft.

Finally adhered the panels to a 5 by 7 inch white card base.

Pair of Cards by Preeti D.

Hi friends :)
Hope you are doing well.
Preeti Datta (Dutt Preety) here from the VLVS! Design Team.
For today's post, I've created a Pair of Simple Cards.
I've used some gorgeous VLVS! Rubber Stamps here.
I was inspired by Banksy Style Graffiti Art.

VLVS! Banksy stamps are amazing. I love them!

The process is quite simple. I stamped the VLVS! stamps onto watercolour paper.

Then die cut the panels using rectangle dies and did background stamping using grey archival ink.

Then did very light watercolouring using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Added the sentiments using Tim Holtz stickers. In the end, matted the panels in black and then white and adhered them to cream coloured A2 sized card bases.
