Hi everyone, and Happy New Year! Here is my blog post, a bit late! I have made a postcard.
Good evening. It's almost New Years Eve and that got me thinking of the TV show I watch for the countdown to New Years. That is what this card was inspired by.
I started out by making the background with some dinkles and watercolor paper.

Hello everyone!
Todays project is a tag. Hope you enjoy the humor.
I started with a yellow and gray base, sprayed on the colors and moved them around with a brush.Next I inked the Christmas tree and stamped it a couple times. I dried it and then sprayed distress oxide old paper over the tagNext I stamped the" deer".( its really an antelope) I added to their horns to make them more deer like.Hi Lovelies ❤
Welcome back on this Blog.
This is my last Blog project for 2023.
And that's the way, how I made it:
01.) First of all I select my images.
02.) I stamped both images on watercolor paper and then cut them out. I cut out each honeycomb individually.
03.) Before I color my pictures, I first design my background. For this I use watercolor paper and VersaMark for embossing.
04.) When I've finished stamping, embossing powder is added over the stamping ink. Then everything is heated with a hot air dryer until the powder melts.
05.) I color my embossed background using a water tank brush and Distress Reinker.
06.) I have now colored my pictures and can now put everything together into a card. To make the images stand out a bit, I use 3D foam. Finally, stamp the text, stick it on a folding card and you're done.
All stamps I used:
- Stars
other supplies:
- Staz on
- VersaMark
- Watercolor paper
- Distress Reinker
- handmade watercolors
- embossing powder
Wishng you a Happy New Year *mwah*
See ya in January 2024

Good afternoon, Cathy here with some Christmas tags for you.
I had some leftover tags sitting on my table and I thought I would make some gift tags from them.
I started out with some distress inks and oxide to make the background. Dip and dry is how I did them.
Next, I took grunge writing background and some gray distress ink and stamped it randomly on the backgrounds of all the tags. I then edged all the tags with the same gray ink. Then I took Large snowflake and Medium snowflake and stamped them on 5 of the tags wit black ink. For the last 2 tags I stamped the Christmas tree small on them.
Hi, Lovelies!
I stamped the inside also ....
This year I have decided to work a lot with dies, but look at the many beautiful Christmas words and sentiment I also used:
There’s not much to say about the making of my cards, just enjoy and get some ideas
of how to use our beautiful words and sentiment.
Have a wonderful time until Christmas, enjoy crafting, prime time with friends and family, good food (and drinks), I will be back on New Year's Eve.
Luv ya ♥
