Our introduction for the design team today is...

mellpellmell:

mellpellmell has a super sense of color and layout. Her work is always full of whimsy of life!

mellpellmell says "My name is Maria Potapovich, but online I am known by the nickname mellpellmell.

I live with my family in Minsk (the capital of Belarus). Most of all in scrap I like ... in general I like to do all that is connected with the paper, inks, stamps, masks, etc.
The fact that I have higher technical education, does not prevent me to be creative.
The fact that "the time for paper sessions," I have only at night - does not stop me.
I think the whole scrapbooking was invented just for me))

My favorite stamps - are background)). they are very versatile - they can create new beautiful paper for your project base, it can decorate any shape that can be added as decoration to work ... although I will never give up the beautiful and detailed stamp with images of birds, plants or human faces - for some works these stamps are simply necessary!"

Hermine has this.. ability to use rubber stamps a MILLION different ways. Each time she posts I am blown away. I've seen wearable, gifts, cards, tags, books.. you name it, this girl has DONE it.. and done it WELL.

Hermine says "Since many years I really love to stamp, not only for cardmaking but I really like to combine them with mixed media work and in art journals. Through stamping you'll get to know people from all over the world and that is so awesome!

Glenda has such a superb grasp on color and texture. I always adore seeing her projects .. atcs, layouts and canvases are among her favorite!

Glenda says "Hi, my name is Glenda Tkalac and I live in Saskatatchewan, Canada.  I love scrapbooking, making art journal pages, canvases and ATC's.  I work full time but wish I could just play in my art room full time! haha  I also love watching movies, playing with paper & scissors and all things artsy, the smell of staz on ink, capris, funky runners, hoodies, Marianas Trench, baubles & purses, the Goo Goo Dolls, unicorns, rainbows, a good laugh, Coors Light, my Sony Reader, flannel sheets, scented candles and Sid Dickens memory tiles.

DIANA FISHER: 

Diana is brand new to our team, but certainly not brand new to the crafting community! We're very excited to have her and her beautiful cards on our blog. She'll be joining us for a shorter term of 3 months, from January to March.

Diana Says "Hi! I am so happy to be joining the gals of Viva Las VegaStamps for the next couple of months. I also design for Bella Blvd, Lily Bee and Samantha Walker, so you may have run into me on one of those blogs. I'm also one of the blog coordinators for Scrapbook Circle Kit Club and am the card sketch designer and a contributor for PaperHaus Magazine.

I love stamping and making cards, and I find creating to be very calming. My favorite thing to stamp is a fun background pattern. I love to take an unassuming simple shape and make a unique background with it. Throw in some texture or ombré and vióla — a great new background!"
