More Pride, More Acceptance!

November already...YIKES!  But here we are.

Continuing on with my love for Tina Walker's Scribble girls, I have a slimline card to share with you.

Stamped in archival ink and colored with Posca Paint pens.

The slimline die is from PhotoPlay Paper and I used a gelli printed piece from my stash.  Of course I used Dina Wakley paints and sprays.

And these sentiments are perfect for this crazy election time here in the US.
I am finding that I just love the slimline card, it is a fun size to create on!!

I will see you all soon.  Until next time...get inky!

Brave Wings

OK, so you may have noticed that I just LOVE all of the Scribble Girls by Ms. Tina Walker, and if you haven't...trust me when I say I DO!

Today I have a tag to share with you combining the new release of stamps with a previous release of Scribble Girls.

The tag is pulled from my stash of gelli printed tags and papers.

She is stamped in archival ink and colored with Posca Paint pens.  My favorite was to dress the girls!!!

I cut the earring with a craft knife so I could but the wings under them.  The wings are stamped on a magazine page from my stash that was gelli printed.

I do most of my gelli printing with Dina Wakley acrylic paint, I just love the colors.  The sentiment is written with my favorite Posca's.

I have a feeling this tag is going to end up in a journal, what do you think??

Until next time...get inky!

The Scribble Girl Bunch!

I just LOVE Tina's Scribble Girls and this new collection is SO.  MUCH.  FUN.

You will notice in this ATC trio I am sharing today some matching washi tape!!  OMG!

Stamps used:  Scribble One Earring, Scribble Girl Pigtails, Scribble Girl Big Lips, One Human Race, More Pride, More Acceptance, Round Brushstrokes Large, Brush Hatches

These super fun ATC's are created on a piece of gelli printed card stock.

Subtle background stamping and then the girls!!!

Their 'bodies' are created with custom washi tape by Tina Walker and outlined with my trusty Stabilo All pencil.

These new sentiments are perfect for these three!!

And of course they are colored with Posca Paint pens...don't they look like abstract paintings??

Thanks for the visit!

Until next time...get inky!

If Only...

Today I am sharing the last pages in my Scribble Girl journal. I am sad to see it end BUT rest assured you will see more things from me using these awesome Scribble Girl stamps!!

Stamps used:  Tape, Row of Scribble Circles

I think this is one of my favorite pages...the combination of Dina Wakley paints and gloss sprays and the doodling in and around the Dina Wakley stencils mixed with the stamping just CALLS to me.

The boldness of the doodling with Posca Paint pens, ahhhhhhh.

Thanks for coming along with me on my scribbley journey!  I DO NOT see it ending here.  Scribbles are good for the soul whether they are in the form of the girls or just shapes and marks!!
Scribble your art out!!

Until next time...get inky!

Two Things

Hello everyone!!

Michele here today with another spread from my Scribble Girl journal.

Stamps used:  Smirking Scribble Girl, Sawtooth Stitching Lines, Stitching Lines

I stamped on tissue and adhered with gel medium, colored with Posca Paint pens and stamped stitching around the tissue so the square looked sewn in.

Of course I also used Dina Wakley paint, gloss spray, and stencils.

I hope you are staying safe and doing well and being creative!!!

Wild Side

Happy Monday all!!  I hope everyone is staying safe during these interesting times.
I have another page in my Scribble Girl journal.  I had picked this page to share today before the world turned upside down.  I think it is very appropriate and Perspective is very necessary for us all to get through this.

I stamped the images on Dina Wakley tissue and added them with gel medium.  Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays and Acrylic Paint background, Dina Wakley Stencils and Posca Paint Pens to color the stamped images and doodle.

For a little contract I left one of the stamped images uncolored.

If you are stuck at home I hope you are finding some time to make art!  And I hope you are staying safe!

Until next time...get inky!

Coloring and doodling all with Posca Paint pens.

I just love the bright pink on this page!  And that quote...it ALWAYS resonates with me because I usually know but I don't always say, choose your battles right??

The World is my Runway

Guess who...???  Yep, it is me again!  AND I have another page to show you from my book, just like I promised last time.

Stamps used: Spiky Hair Scribble Girl, The World is my Runway

This page has the matching scribble girl chip board piece from Um Wow Studio, OMG!  I colored her with Posca Paint Pens.

I love the stamp and matching chip layered!

If you remember from last time I have used Dina Wakley Media Gloss Sprays, Paints and Stencils for the background.  I outlined and doodled on the stenciled images with Posca Paint Pens.

So I will make another promise to bring you another page next month...actually 2 pages for both of my spots for March.  AND probably some pages in April too.  I am in LOVE with these scribble girls!!!  I just can't get enough of using them and I am excited to have an entire little book dedicated to them!!  Maybe is it because they remind me of ME.

Until next time...get inky!

She is Wonder Woman

Hidee Ho!!  Michele here with a journal page today!!
I started with a book I made from a single piece of kraft paper...it was pretty big at 30" x 24" so my pages in my book are about 7" x 6".  Before I made the book I decorated the page with the NEW Dina Wakley gloss sprays that I got my grubby little hands on at Creativation.  OH BOY!!  Of course I also used Dina Wakley paints and a Stabilo Marks All Pencil.

Stamps used:  Scribble Girl with Curlers and Earrings, Badass, Fuck You
I stamped the scribble girl on tissue and applied with gel medium.  Then the one side of this 2 page spread has a layer of gesso and then scribble sticks.

I love me some scribbling!!!  AND doodling with Posca Paint Pens.

I really let go on this one and let my doodle fly.  The background had scribbling too, so much FUN!

I have another spread to show you so make sure you are popping back in later this month to see!!

Until next time...get inky!

Why Try to be NORMAL???

Let's take a break from the holiday hub bub!
Michele here with a journal page mixing stamping with collage.

Stamps used: Big Eyed Scribble Girl, Badass

I love mixing stamping with collaging and the Scribble Girls are perfect for that!!

A perfect fit and then a little bit of coloring with Posca Paint Pens.

A little muted BADASS in the background to finish it off...of course I used Brushos for the background color, some doodling and a StencilGirl stencil for a bit of dimension.

Fun right??!!
Until next time, GET INKY!!

And we've got inking...Distress Oxide Ink for a perfect blended background
We've got splattering...Distress Oxide Sprays
