Not all who Wander

Hello everyone....
I’m back for another month. And I’m going to be straight up honest.
This month’s challenge has me freaking stumped.
Homecooked!!!....
(#noventry19)
So I digressed for this first post. But I won’t let the challenge defeat me. (Stay tuned for that!!).

Without further ado...
Not all who Wander!!

I started with a 4x4 piece of watercolour paper that I smeared a layer of texture paste and then let it dry a little then stamped into it with the Waybill/invoice stamp.

Then I added the stamped image of the Businessman Silhouette straight onto the textured background. I know it doesn't give a perfect image but I love it anyway...
what are your thoughts?
can you handle the not quite so crisp stamped image?

Then I added some colour washes so it looks like the man is standing on a mountain, a few random alphas.
Then I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of resined book text.
I just love that caramel coloured goodness!!!!

Lastly, just to finish some stitching around the piece to give the whole piece a super easy border.

All of the stamps featured here are from Plate 1440....

Handmade Phone Case and Key Chain by Susanne

Hi my dear crafty friends!

It's Susanne writing today and I'd like to share a homemade phone case. I used some gelli printed white KraftTex and the "Whimsical Horned Boy" as my main image. KraftTex is a rugged paper that looks and feels like leather, but sews and cuts just like fabric. Some of you might also know it as SnapPap.

I cut my KraftTex matching my mobile phone (plus some seam allowance) and added some texture with the "Waybill/Invoice Background" and the "Number Strip" using different inks (Memento Luxe, StazOn). The main image is stamped on tissue paper and adhered with Gel Medium. I wanted a very good impression, so I decided not to stamp on the rough surface of the gelli printed KraftTex.

I added some stamping on the back, as well (Radioactive) before I sew it together. I cut a whole with my Crop-A-Dile in the top left corner to add a homemade charm. I made it with white Shrink Foil and the "Whimsical Face".

Finally I had some KraftTex left, so I decided to make a little key chain, too. I embossed the "Whimsical Key Man" with WOW! Primary Ebony before I sewed everything together.

Thanks for stopping by today!
xx Susanne.

Wonderland Tag

Hello everyone! Shanna here again to share and amazing creation with you all!
I am just in love with Alice in Wonderland and thought to create a tag based on that theme!

I loved creating this tag using a variety of stamps and mixed media techniques.

I used Alice Reaching - 12681 (Plate 1161) and Mason Jar - 18957 (Plate 827) for the main part of the tag. I used lots of Distress Inks to really grunge the tag up. I also used a Twinkling H2o to add some shimmer as well.

Then I stamped the Butterfly Specimens - 19415 (Plate 1440) using a light colored ink and Wonderland - 19580 (Plate 1452) to make this tag a Wonderland of an idea to add for a tag collection.
