Trio of Cards by Preeti D.

Hi friends :)
Hope you are doing well.
Preeti Datta (Dutt Preety) here from the Guest Inspiration Team.
For today's post, I've created a Trio of Cards using some gorgeous VLVS! rubber stamps. I always need greeting cards to give to friends & relatives, so it is a great idea to have a stack of them ready for whenever the occasion calls for it :)

I stamped the beautiful focal images (using VLVS! awesome stamps) onto watercolour paper panels & did watercoloring within the focal images. Then, loosely watercolored in greys around the focal images to create depth.

I created a grungy background by second & third generation stamping with VLVS! sentiment stamps around the focal images. And to create an artsy look & frame the pieces, I loosely stamped the Sawtooth Stitching Lines Stamp around the panels.

In the end, the watercolour panels were adhered to A2 sized grey card bases & I added a sentiment sticker to each card.

VLVS! Supplies:

Other Supplies:
Kuretake: Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
Canson: XL Watercolour Paper
Tsukineko: Versafine Onyx Black Inkpad
Winnie & Walter Dies
Lawn Fawn Dies

Thanks a lot for your precious time :)
Stay Blessed!

Tiny Little houses

Hi everyone!

It's Majo here today and I'd like to share my newest home decor with you. I was so inspired by the tiny houses from the Tim Holtz collection with Sizzix, that I just had to have them on my candle tray. I love this neutral look for my home decor.

I cut the shapes from cream cardstock, added some old book paper with Gel Medium and covered everything with gesso.

In my next step I used different stamps to create my background together with Archival Ink Shadow Grey, Pale Ochre and Versafine Toffee.

After I adhered the sentiments and the Paper dolls with pop dots,  I used strips of my Miracle Tape tape to build the houses together.

I stamped and heat embossed the roof with very chunky embossing powder, I had to add powder several times, before it had the texture I desired.

I made flaps from Washi Tape to adhere the roofs to the base. Thanks to my lovely teammate Tera for the recommendation!

I have a tray with glasses for candles, which I have redecorated many times over, i.e. Christmas, Halloween, Easter etc, now it's a more general theme I can use for a while regardless of any occasion.

As you can see, I left the backside undecorated, this way I can come up with some other embellishments if I get tired of the dolls. It also shows you that sometimes I don't look at my image before stamping and turn it upside down 😏

Have a closer look:

Some little flowers cut from Glassine Paper and crumbled up.

Thank you for stopping by today!
xx Majo.

I've still got it !

Hi, Nikki here today sharing some fun Artist Trading Card's (ATC's) I made.

The star of the show is Senior Lady doing split :

Isn't she fun. Seriously, can you imagine being able to do the splits in later life. Kudos to her.

You can see in the background that I have also used a stamp from the most current release, Squiggly star collage.

The background is made up of torn music paper, acrylic paint and black and white ink.

A close up :

I actually made a series of these ATC's, here they are :

Thanks for stopping by, Nikki x
