Independance by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello Everyone!!

Here is my art tag project today reflecting the holiday upon us here in the US.....

I kept this tag On the simple side. To start I inked my flag stamp with two different ink pads. I wanted a grunge look for my grunge flag, so after stamping it .I spritzed the imprint with some water.

Then I sprayed some Vintage photo distress spray around the edges of the tag .I used a paint brush to move the color around so it didn't get on my flag too much.
Then I stamped the writing in brown at two corners. I stamped the boy in tub boat and colored him in. Then fussy cut him out.

I used double thick foam tape behind him to give extra dimension on the tag. I cut a length of ribbon for the tag and put some red and blue ink on that too. Attached it all to the tag and done!

Hope you enjoyed~

No Future ► Majo

Hi Lovelies,

time for another AMF project.

AMF = Art Meets Function

I made a gift box and used one of my fav stamps, the Star. The box measures approx. 41/2 x 5”

I colored watercolor paper and used a stencil to give it some interest.

You guys know me by now, I can’t live without the doodle dots.

I added a sentiment adhered on pop dots and added some panels on the box sides as well.

Don’t you also always need boxes for giveaways? Keep them! This one came with a belt I ordered.

 I used the following stamps:

 19822 from plate 1471

19827 from plate 1471

20065 from plate 1491

You guys, have a great start into the new week and have fun crafting.

Luv ya ♥

BE RANDOM, by Fran Chalmers

Hello everyone! Today I have a tag for you.

I started by making my background.  The tag was cream card, and I smooshed Distress inks in Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner.

I then used a harlequin stencil from my stash and put translucent texture paste through it, leaving a gap on the left side.

When the paste dries, it goes clear but is a bit sticky.  So firstly I added a bit more colour by dabbing Distress ink in Unchartered Mariner on the raised shapes.

I then dusted mica powder (iridescent blue) on top. This added a lovely sheen.

I stamped my clown image, and I also wanted the balloons on the Banksy image of The Girl with the Balloon.  I stamped 3 balloons in orange, but coloured over them with an orange posca pen as the ink didn't give a deep enough colour.  I shaded the clown with grey copic pen as I wanted him to stand out. I fussy cut them all out.

I stamped a portion of the sentiment stamp onto card which I had smooshed in the same colours as the main tag.

I stuck the sentiment on sticky pads, then stuck the clown on top and the three hearts, then drew lines from the balloons to the clown's hand.  I added some orange ribbon to pick up the orange in the balloons.

Stamps Used:

Clown Towing In 14773

Banksy Balloon Girl 19430

Be Adorable 19038

Other Items Used:

Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers and Unchartered Mariner

Harlequin stencil

Texture paste

Mica powder in iridescent blue

Orange Posca Pen

Black fine liner

See you next time!

Embossed blended card by Cathy

Hello, Cathy here with an embossed blended card for you.

I started out with some white cardstock and white embossing power along with 20343 Victorian flower background. I embossed it.
Then I wanted a sunset blend of colors, so I took a red, orange and yellow distress ink and blended them over the embossed image. When I was happy with the colors, I took a paper towel and got it a little wet and went over the embossed image to take off the excess color. Splattered it with water and picked up the water with a paper towel.
I then stamped 19512 gnome skeleton male and 19511 gnome lady skeleton on some scrap white cardstock and cut out. I glued them to the bottom corner.

I trimmed the blended background and layered on black then white cardstock and finished it off on a brown card base.

Beauty by Arwen

 Hi Lovelies ❤

Welcome back on this Blog.

Today, I want to share a new flip card:

also a few close-ups:

And that's the way, how I made it:

1.) I used watercolor paper, a stencil and texture paste which crackled.

2.) Give it time to dry. You can make it quicker when using a heat gun - but carefully, because of the bubbles ;)

3.) Before I use my stamps, I added some Distress Reinker onto my paper. Also Dylusions spray and at least some water.

Now I got my background to create the rest of my card :)

Stamps, I used:

- Lady with flower

- She was a wildflower

Other supplies:

- Watercolor paper

- Texture paste crackle white

- Staz on

- Dylusions spray

- Distress reinker

- Staples

- Posca white pen

- Stabilo fineliner

- Ribbons

- Embossing powder white

- SU stamping pad "Whisper white"

See ya soon *mwah*

Circus Bear by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!!

Today I made a card for my blog project.

For my background, I used several colors of thick acrylic paint. I put it right on the card and used a brush to spread it around.

Once I had the paint on, I dried it with my heat tool. And then used a pallet knife to put some crackle paste on in some areas. Pro tip: Don't be impatient like me and dry the crackle paste with a heat tool. Let it air dry. You will not get much if any cracks otherwise. As you see on my card. few cracks.

I needed some yellow so I used some distress oxide wild honey re inker on top of the paste. I heat dried it, and kept putting paints and even some red distress spray stain on until I was happy. Its a very textured background.
While that finished drying, I stamped the Banksy circus bear on a piece of cardstock and painted him with distress sprays like watercolor.
I used foam tape to pop him up on top of the background. Then I mounted it all onto a black card. I used some TH small talk words to finish the card.
I hope you like my card today~ Thanks for looking.
