Boo, my crafty friends.

Stay creepy by ~*Arwen*~

 Hi witches & wizzards ❤👻

Are you looking forward to tomorrow night?

As a little warm-up for tomorrow, here's this card from me today.

some Close-ups:

And that's how I made it:

1.) In the first four steps, I stamped my image using masks. I used VersaFine Clair ink for stamping. I started with the top image and then worked my way down.

2.) I used a Micron pen to trace over all the areas that weren't stamped due to the masking. Now I'm creating a border so the card doesn't look so empty.

3.) When I finish my drawing, I first color the outline with a ZIG pen. Then I color the rest with my handmade watercolors. For the fly agaric spots, I used embossing enamel and added each dot individually. You've already seen the final result above.

All stamps, I used:

- Small striped witch hat

- Mushroom

- Raven

- Small mushroom

- Mushroom

- Stay creepy

other supplies:

- Watercolor paper (Canson)

- Cardstock

- VersaFine Clair

- Micron Pen

- ZIG Pen

- handmade watercolor

- Posca white pen

- Stampendous embossing enamel

- Dylusions shimmer spray

Have a creepy weekend and see ya soon *mwah*

SCRIBBLE THAT SHIT OUT - by Fran Chalmers

 Hi everyone!

Today I have made a postcard for you, which I hope you like!

I started with a piece of card that I had in my stash, which was made on a gel press.

I added some interest by adding some background stamps, using Elements ink in Della Blue and Versafine Clair ink in Verdant.

I stamped my main image onto the card, and then onto some thick paper.  I coloured it and cut out, sticking it on top of the stamped image.

I added my sentiments, and used a fine liner to frame them.  I then added some more background with crosses to fill in the spaces that needed something. I framed the whole card with a black fine liner.

                                                                 19697 pentagram

I started making a film strip from a die cut. I cut out again in cream cardstock so I could use it for the middle. I colored it with distress inks, and I stamped plague doctor and grunge writing.

To make the card base I used the same colors of distress inks and I stamped witch hazel glycerine label   mercurial ointment, small spider web, and pentagram.

Next, I glued the film strip down on the front of the card.

I stamped the witches broom on a separate piece of paper and colored it with copic markers and cut it out. I added some Halloween ephemera.

A haunting we will go By. Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all!

Halloween is next week and so I made a card for my favorite holiday- enjoy🎃

To start my card, I stamped all the houses first. Then the graves, fence, then kids and last I stamped the moon and clouds, and last was bats.

I colored in the windows and the jack-o’-lantern  and then I started on the background.

I worked the back ground until I was happy. Then I let that dry. I came back later and worked on the houses. I felt the houses needed some trees between them so I went back and stamped the trees. I added in the creepy fog and the very last thing was to stamp the words. It was a lot of work but I loved it. I think it coveys Halloween night pretty well.

Don’t make me get my flying monkeys. By Tracy Blackwolf

Hello all! And Happy October! My favorite month…

I hope you enjoy my card for this week.

For this card, I started by stamping all of the images first.

Then I painted the whole background with distress spray stains and water and a brush. I really love doing water color with them as I like the way they blend.
I kept playing with color and adding more color until I was happy with the sky. It was pretty wet and time to walk way for the day so it got to dry overnight. Which is rare for me but it definitely has a different look than when I heat dry it. I came back and added more color to the sky again. Not too much.
Next I painted the bat and the witch.
Things always look different on camera than in person and I had issue with part of the sky by her broom. It was not blended right to me. I can be a perfectionist. It’s annoying. lol.  So, of coarse I had to fix it. I also felt she needed a bit of magic mist to be flying on so I added so white pan pastel. Then I layered the card onto cardstock. I was going for a bit of old time Halloween card look so hopefully that comes across.
The little bat seems just curious but the witch isn’t up for any shenanigans.

I hope you enjoyed- enjoy fall…it’s far too short.

Stamps used:
Witch with broom in basket.     20432
Bat.    16696
Flock of bats.  18909
Flying monkeys verbage.    10580
Tree with tire swing.    19717

Supplies:
Distress spray stains
White pan pastel
Multifarious card stock
Black memories ink pad dye ink
