Blast from the past - Hearst Castle

Hi Hermine here. My turn to make something with a Blast from the past stamp. Love structure and architecture and this stamp is absolutely gorgeous.

http://www.vlvstamps.com/index.php/hearst-castle-3-1-4-x-3-1-2.html

This gorgeous stamp is called  Hearst Castle 2347

step 1:  Start this card by stamping Big Ben 19391 with goosebumps
step 2: put some ink direct to the craftsheet, I used Memento yellow, red and pink as close together as possible but don;t overlapp the colours because you will contaminate you ink pads, especially the lighter ones. Then spray some water, dipp you card into the ink on your craftsheet. Let dry and whipe off the excess on the Big Ben.
step 3: Stamp Hearts Castle 2347  and the text Adventure awaits 19009 (but only the word adventure)with Memento Luxe black. Then mask the castle and use masking paper to make a strip so you can stamp partially and turned 90 degrees the Waybill/Invoice background 19416.
step 4: stamp on both sides the color wheel lines 19338 with Delicata Silvery Shimmer (Tsukineko) and Pulse rate 19186 with Delicata Golden Glitz.
step 5: Color with a waterbrush and Memento Luxe (the same colours you used for the background) to colour the castle and the rectangle spaces from the waybill. Add some shadow underneath those lines with Silvery Shimmer and Golden Glitz.
step 6: take your waterbrush and take up some Golden Glitz and splatter. Do the same with Memento Luxe pink.
step 7: take a scrap piece of paper and stamp Butterflies specimen 1 19415 with Memento Luxe Black.
step 8: take a double square card, distress the edges and glue your artwork to the card.

Hope you like my blast from the past.

Warmly Hermine
