Make a wish (+ background tutorial)

Hello all! Nataliya is here :)
Happy New Year  and Merry Christmas! Let all your dreams come true!
And I want to show my new card:


It's some kind of vintage, but in a light shining palette:


I love when my card have the many layers & volume:


And background in close:


Do you want to know, how it was making? It's easy peasy!
I took book pages & paper doily laces and glued them on scrap paper:


After that I painted my background with gesso:


and added some stamping with acrylic paint:


Before the paint has dried, I sprinkled little bit of glitter:


mmmm, shiny!


It's time for adding more stamping!


And more...


How about more shine?



And final step: texture paste with sand!


Background is ready ^.^

Vintage card

Hello all, Nataliya is here!
Today I will show my new vintage card, I love to do card in this style :)


For this card I took not so many embellishments: flower, chipboard, leavs, stamens and paper doily lace.


For doily lace I used VLVS! Medium Doily 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 and hot embossing:


As usually I used a lot of Viva Las VegaStamps for background:

Who are you?

Hello all :) Nataliya is here :)
Today I'm brought to you my new card about our real "I" that we often hide from everyone, even from ourselves. So who are you really?


I just adore this effect with pearl powder...hidden pattern)


And little tutorial for you :)
I very love to do stamping background! Maybe you have noticed it :)
For the beginning I stamping on the scrap paper using Gelato - what lovely color blends are obtained!


I did a little "script" details with StazOn and Memento Luxe:


It is time to pearl powder! I did stamping with VersaMark.


As you can see, powder stuck on VersaMark and Memento Luxe, but drawing with VersaMark visible only at certain angles.


Adding some blots:

For Men I used black StazOn, again:


And with Gelato I add shadow:

Dream Big with PanPastel / Nataliya Serova

Our fifth and final day featuring PanPastels is brought to you by Natasha Serova and she's stamping and pasteling with VersaMark! Here's another shout out to PanPastel and how neat they are to work with. I hope you've enjoyed our week long inspiration!


 Hello all, Nataliya is here :)
I think you have already seen how steep PanPastel! I'm just crazy about them, really :) I was most impressed by the ability to use it with VersaMark - the effect is simply incredible! And with PanPastel, VersaMark and, of course, stamps VLVS! I made a card about how important to dreaming.


Look how chic background turned out! I just toned it using Violet & Permanent Red Tint PanPastel.


And this is another piece of background. Here you can see how PanPastel allocates pattern made ​​using textured paste.

Natasha Serova:


Tasha is another texture lover, always surprising me with her layers of beautiful stamped goodness. I'm glad to welcome her and her beautiful talents back!

Vintage butterfly

Hello all :) Nataliya is here :)
Do you love the butterflies? I do!
You can find this pretty creations on most of my work :) And this card - is no exception :)

This is VLVS! Fancy Hinge Silhouette 1 1/4 x 2

Fancy Hinge Silhouette 1 1/4 x 2

I took the paper, stamp, WaterMark ink and Ultra High Gloss Embossing Powder:


The resulting image I cut and made the ink shading:


And I add Glossy Accent+glitter :)


Butterfly is chipboard. I covered it the texture paste.


Now, I sprinkle it with glitter embossing powder and heated. The result is a very interesting texture:
