Suitcase girl by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello all- hope you're not melting and have some place cool- With all the Halloween in stores now that's where my mind is so here is an art tag reflecting that. Enjoy.

For this tag, I started by spraying distress spray stains on the tag. I dried it then put some water drops on it to take off some of the ink. I dabbed with a paper towel. once dry, I used texture paste and a stencil to do the raised background of skull and crossbones.

While that dried, I stamped and cut out and painted the girl in the suitcase. I used foam tape on the back of the girl  for dimension.  I put her on the tag and then fond the words from a Tim Holtz sticker book Halloween.

I used ATG tape for the word stickers as the heavy texture of the background was too much for the adhesive that comes on the stickers. needed something stronger.
Fun tag to do and really getting me in the mood for fall.
or at least less hot weather. Stay cool, Stay safe, and don't forget to put water out for all the animals and insects.
