Share Your Sparkle

Hello my fine feathered friends.
I hope that spring has finally sprung wherever you are!
It's still trying to break free here in Ohio, but we're getting there.

I had some fun today playing in the art journal.
I hope you like it, and want to play along!!

Wanna make it?
Alllllllrighty, then!

What you'll need:
A journal to work in
Distress inks- a few shades of blue and a few shades of green along with blending tools
Water
Punchinella (the green stuff with circles in it)
Washi tapes
Black ink (I used Archival)
Viva Las Vegastamps! Super Gloss Embossing Powder
Gold glitter embossing powder
Gelatos
Faber Castell Pitt metallic pens
White gel pen
Smooch inks
Heat gun
Small paint brush
Scissors
Miracle tape sheet
Liquid Glue (I used Glossy Accents)

Use your Distress inks to create a background that
roughly resembles grass and sky.
Take the Gelatos and sketch some detail in the grass.
Use a wet paint brush and blend the Gelatos.
Dry with heat gun, and use a green Pitt metallic marker over the same areas.
Put a little water in your hand and fling it at the page. Dry with heat gun.
Stamp the washi stamps in the grass area, using one of the green Distress Inks.
Stamp & emboss the row of stars at the top of the page.
Stamp & emboss guy in the grass.
Use the blue Pitt Metallic pen and white gel pen and make dots in the sky.
Add washi tapes to your heart's content.
Stamp guy with black ink and emboss with Super Gloss on
white card stock. Trim and place on Miracle Tape sheet.
Cut out completely, and adhere over stamped image on page.
Color with the Pitt metallic pens and Smooch inks.

Add the punchinella at the bottom of the page.
Stamp sentiment beside guy.
