Stamping With VLVS On Glassine by Pinky

Hey there VLVS fans!

Pinky here today with a fun project tutorial- 

A how to make this acrylic card and stamp on Glassine paper by Tim Holtz. 

I used the amazing Plate 1350 and several images to create this vintage style card

of encouragement and love. I stamped right on the Glassine paper and love it!

 Using Plate 1350 and Colorbox Mixed Media ink- stamp images onto

Glassine paper. Drying with heat gun in between each image. 

I found that a blow dryer did not work you will need a heat 

gun for this ink/paper combo but it dries beautifully. 

 After all images have dried- crinkle paper thoroughly and smooth out after. 

 Stamp an extra Violet Nosegay Flower Plate 1350: Item 17819 onto Glassine

dry, then cut out. Crinkle just like before. 

 Adhere stamped paper to base of card.

Take single flower and pop up over stamped image using foam pop dots. 

 Add embellishments pearls and gemstone.

Using Acrylic Expression- coat wit Alcohol Ink and light dusting of glitter. 

 Adhere vintage lace to front flap wrapping around flap. 

Add Gemstones. 

 Adhere Courage Expression to from flap on outside. 

 Assemble card as per instructions being careful not to touch clear stickers. 

Take Glassine paper scrap and insert "Sending You" alphabet sticker. 

Place into Momenta Metal Frame. 

Adhere to front of card.

 As you can see because the card is clear I adhered gemstones to both sides

of the scallop and you can clearly see the lifted flower for dimension.

Vintage style, beautiful and full of heart- ready for the recipient.

Hey there VLVS fans!!!

It's just me Pinky here today with another sassy fun project.

You know on the OWH blog hop I had a card using Plate 1397 well

it completely inspired me to create yet another card for my girlfriend. 

We all have those special friends in our lives- I have 5- they are

my amazing friends I trust with my world and I know in 20

we will still be visiting and since we all swear like sailors...

we WILL be saying "Bitch Please!" haha

 Don't even play- you know you will too!! 

 These images are so fun and perfect for my sassy life!

Pinky Hobbs- Much Ado About Nothing

Humor on Canvas by Pinky!

Hey there to all the amazing VLVS fans!

Pinky here today with a canvas project (I know right? She's artsy too??!)

Using the ever amazing Viva Las VegaStamps to add some humor to your day!

Of course I started with Plate 1404 because it was perfect to give

my giggles every day! People are always telling me to lighten up, so

I thought if I made a canvas to hang in my room I would remember

that life is not always serious....and I think it's hard for mom's to remember

that with the every day business. 

I made this canvas colorful and filled with sarcasm. 

It has a very feminine touch with the butterflies and crystals. 

Plate 1404 is amazing- Grab it just for fun, believe me you will use it!

Here is how to create your own canvas:

1. Spritz canvas generously in 3 colors.
2. Blot/smear Smooch and blend. 
3. Dictionary paper- spritz same colors onto paper. 
4. Adhere Dictionary paper 
5. Spritz Kraft paper and allow to dry.
6. Stamp VLVS Sentiments from Plate 1404
7. Ink wooden letters (from Pink Paislee).
8. Spritz canvas butterflies and doily- adhere. 
9. Adhere embellishments as shown on canvas photo. 
10. Fine Point Copic- apply hand drawn lines. 
11. Seal Canvas
12. Remind yourself to laugh daily!

Just have fun with it, get creative, be artsy, and be sarcastic...makes you feel happy

ok maybe it only makes me happy- but it's still worth it.

Not Your Average Card!

Good morning VLVS fans! Pinky here today with another 

sassy project to share!

Now that the holidays are over and the stress is beginning to 

leave, we begin dieting season and I can't think of a grumpier time!

So why not lighten this time up with a sassy card.

I think this is a perfect card for all my dieting friends this week.

I love the amazing fun and rambunctious quotes you can find 

in Viva Las VegaStamps, appropriate for EVERY occasion. 

I love this Hand Holding Gun stamp- perfect for adding those

classic metal embellishments you have in your stash-

Hey everyone needs to clean their stash for the New Year right?!

Here is the back to my card. 

This card is 4.5X6" and matted in black card-stock. 

I left the colors very simple so the metal really pops!

I also used Miracle Tape for this entire card and it has quickly

become my FAVORITE adhesive!!

So who are you going to have fun with today? Come on make

those best friends laugh!
