Panties In A Bunch- Canvas by Pinky

Hey there VLVS friends,

It's just me Pinky- here today with another heartfelt touching projects- 

JUST KIDDING...it's another sassy project of course! 

I love making canvases and to be honest I start out with perfectly 

good intentions of making them beautiful and heartfelt but in reality

I always end up putting something sassy on them...I mean it is from my

mind and I do have so many great saying from VLVS. 

Today I am using Plate 1397 Images plus alot of GLITTER PAINT

To create this fun- girly canvas just for my friend. 

It reminds you to have a huge heart, be a wonderful person

but also have a great sense of humor about life. 

 And how could I go wrong coating it in GLITTER paint, I mean

that's pretty much the best thing next to a new Viva Las VegaStamps stamp!

Hey there VLVS fans!!!

It's just me Pinky here today with another sassy fun project.

You know on the OWH blog hop I had a card using Plate 1397 well

it completely inspired me to create yet another card for my girlfriend. 

We all have those special friends in our lives- I have 5- they are

my amazing friends I trust with my world and I know in 20

we will still be visiting and since we all swear like sailors...

we WILL be saying "Bitch Please!" haha

 Don't even play- you know you will too!! 

 These images are so fun and perfect for my sassy life!

Pinky Hobbs- Much Ado About Nothing

Wear SASSY As A Badge Of Honor!

Hey there Viva Las VegaStamps friends,

Guess who? Oh yea it's me Pinky! You know the sassy one.

I have a fun project today. 

You know since I hit my late 30's and begun the slide into 40

my sass has come out loud and proud!! I mean you only live once so why not. 

Have you seen this saucy little number? Plate number 1404?

Not gonna lie- pretty much the best plate evah!

I was looking at all these fabby quotes and decided why not make myself

a badge of sassiness to wear when I am feeling extra snarky.

Here's how I create my "Badge Of Sass"

Stamp Viva Las VegaStamps image onto heavy duty cardstock. 

I used 2 colors of brown and gold. 

Spritz image with a sealer such as Preserve Your Memories Spray. 

Coat entire stamps piece in Glossy Accents. (You could use Utee or Crackle is you wanted).

Set aside to dry for 4-24 hours. Paper will warp.

 Take a strong piece of thick acrylic (I used Clear Scraps) trim to size of badge. 

Trime dark background cardstock to same size. 

Using Miracle Tape to adhere stamped image to dark cardstock. 

Adhere to front of acrylic sheet to smooth out any warping that occurs from the 

Glossy Accents or sealing layer. 

Tarnish using alcohol inks OR StazOn inks. 

 Adhere piece to PIN backing. 

 Wear with pride! After all if you do not have your sense of humor what do you have?

Have fun with it. I think I will make a badge for every one of my friends.

Plate 1412...It's A GOOD Thing! Birthday Card by Pinky!

Good morning VLVS friends!

Pinky here today with a fun project using Plate 1412 from

Viva Las VegaStamps. You know when I went to order this 

plate I know I would find 100 uses for it and this is just the first!

There is so much sass and fun on this plate and if you think you

can't create mainstream cards with it, let me tell you...YOU CAN!

My friends WAIT for me to make a snarky card and they 

enjoy seeing what I come up with next. You start using VLVS 

sassiness for your projects and people will definitely notice.

I began with the Hands On Face 2 1/4 X 3 1/4 image. I hand cut it 

out and applied it to the card base. 

After that I used the same vintage cardstock to stamp the 

My Mind Says 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 image hand cutting into a bunting shape. 

 I used my Miracle Tape to adhere it to the frame.

 Then applied the frame to a vintage style card base I created from Glitz paper. 

 I used some vintage Glitz alphas to say "Happy Birthday" and there is 

a sassy and FUN card any friend would ADORE! Not only

because it is handmade from you but also because it's sassy and carries some fun. 

 DON'T forget your Miracle Tape, the adhesive that makes your project stick. 

I use it on all my VLVS projects.

Don't Be Afraid To Stamp A Scrapbook!

Good morning VLVS friends!

Pinky here today with a fun stamped project....a LAYOUT!

The number one thing I hear from my friends about stamping is 

"Oh I don't make cards so I don't stamp" but I am here to tell you that

it is amazing to stamp on a layout!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to create my own images/die cuts 

and really personalize my scrapbook pages! 

Here I simply used this amazing (and new) "Be Adorable" stamp- I stamped it

in bright cherry red ink onto a textures cardstock, and created my own pennant. 

This is just one of 1000 ways to create you own stamped images for a layout. 

 It really adds something to the layout that I would have a hard time creating

with just an alphabet sticker set or journaling. 

I encourage you to go give it a try today!
