Aimee here, with my last regular design team post.

 

The new team is coming in soon, and you're gonna love them. I decided not to reapply this time around for a few reasons....I've been working with Viva Las Vegas a long time and I figured it's time

for some new blood. Also, I've got a lot of irons in the fire- I'm still in college, working part time (for now, anyhow), and am working on my own artsy crafty biz. Along with all of that, I've also become a Disney travel agent! Yeah, and I like to sleep some! LOL

 

I'll miss the team and playing with you all here.

And I'll miss showing you my wieners!

I have a fun little tag for you today, and I thought I'd re-post a few of my

 fave projects using Viva Las Vegastamps.

Here's the tag I have for you today.



Wanna make it?
Awesome!

This uses my beloved Distress inks and the super awesome
Frog Relaxing at Beach stamp.

What you need:
Distress Inks in browns and blues
Handle and foams for your inks
Manilla tag
Scrap of white card stock
Miracle Tape sheet
Scissors
Trim
Twine
Brown ink (I used Archival)
Stuff to color with
Smooch- green and clear top coat
Letter stickers
STAMP



What to do:
Ink up tag with blues at the top,
and browns at the bottom.

Pretty, don't ya think?

Now stamp the frog on the tag with brown ink.
Stamp him again on white card stock with brown ink.

Add trim along the bottom of the tag.
Color and cut out the frog on the white card stock.
Now, the reason I like to do this is that by stamping the
image on the base card, you an avoid trying to cut out the
little bits like whiskers, dots, etc.
Once the frog is colored to your liking,
trim loosely and put him on a piece of the
Miracle tape sheet. Now cut out completely.
Remove the second liner from the Miracle Tape,
and place the colored frog over the frog on the tag.

Add your Smooch accents and add some

twine to the hole in the top of the tag.

Add letter sticker to spell

"just chill".

Now you've got a fun, summery tag.

 

Now here's a few of my favorite things...

 

This little embellishment that became an element

in a Smash journal.

Used the Sitting Bird and a couple

of other stamps.

 

This tag is actually hanging in my kitchen right now.

I used the Birds on a Wire stamp,

among others, on this tag.

 

And this one lives in my art room.

I had intended to send it to Viva Las Vegastamps

but I can't bear to part with it.

I used this lovely fairy (I adore her) along with

other VLVS stamps and Clearnsap products.

 

One of my favorite art journal pages EVER.

Not just using Viva Las Vegastamps, but EVER!
I was in a super good mood that day.

Used the Washi stamps on this one.

 

 

One last round of wiener photos and fun for you.

These kids rarely let me get anything accomplished,

as I'm sure you can see.
