Moonlight trees by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for the project today~

For this card, I started by Spraying the background with spray stains and using a paint brush to move the color around.

I kept adding colors until I liked the look. once I was pleased, I dried it with the heat tool.
I then, Added stars by dipping the brush in picket fence spray stain and splattering it onto the card.
For the glow on some stars, I used a qtip and blot it on my white brilliance ink pad, dab some ink off and then dab onto the stars. You want it a bit dry.
I stamped the moon onto glow in the dark printable vinyl using the black Brilliance ink pad. it really is the best ink for that and dries super fast. And  the glow vinyl Must be printable so make sure what you get says that. I use Girafvinyl brand. You can get on amazon. I must admit I'm obsessed with it. Did I mention its sticker paper?! Very sticky- peel the backing off and stick right on!

Stick moon to card and then ink and stamp tree on repeat with the black Brilliance ink. I used a fine tip marker to fill in the wee gap at the edge of the moon with the trees. As the sticker creates a bit of a raised edge.

Then attach to a card to finish and get some light on the card to see the glow!

I hope you enjoyed!

Flashing cat by Cathy N

Good morning, Cathy here with a fun card for you today.

Stamps Used:

I started out by stamping cat flasher in the center of the card. I then made a mask for the cat flasher and cut it out. I then stamped the spiked fence on the card.
After I was done with that, I decided to add some clouds to the background, so I got out my cloud stencil and some blue distress inks and a blending brush and made some clouds.

I then colored the cat with copic markers and added the other half of the moon I had laying around.

After that was done, I stamped the moon on a piece of white cardstock and cut out.

Dead End by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello  Everyone! Hope you're all well- here is another Halloween card for my project today.

For this card, I stamped all of  images and fussy cut them all out. The blood drips are a die. The teeth in the moon I stamped the moon in gray, stamped on scratch paper then on cardstock and repeated with the teeth on the moon.

On to the background-
I wanted a yellow haze around where the moon is going and a nice dark night sky beyond. I The yellows, and then the blues and purples. I covered the moon spot a bit while spraying the dark colors.
While that dried a bit, I started coloring all of my images. I added blood splatters and glossy accents to the blood drip strip. I colored the teeth with a white gel pen and added more color to the Dracula's house.

I dried the background and added more yellow after adding purples again. you can see how the added yellow ate away at the dark colors giving a cool haze look. That would have been cool by it self.
I stamped the flock of bats all around the card. Then I stared putting all my cut images onto the card. I used foam tape and double stick tape and glue for the blood drip strip.  I then layered the cards to finish.

I hope you enjoyed and that you are inspired as well. Until next time-

Halloween night by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for this weeks project. Its a lovely creepy Halloween eve.

for this card, I started with the moon. I wanted a really creepy moon so I used the skull as the face.

For this, I stamped the moon in a gray ink, stamped on scratch paper first then on my cardstock.

Then for the skull, I inked the skull stamp, wiped off the ink around the face and stamped gently on scratch paper then onto the moon. Took a few times to get it just right. Keeping in mind, the ink will lighten a bit when dry. Next step was to get my main card ready So I got out my ever trusty sprays.

So I got out my "sunset colors and just started spraying. I love the mixed media heavy stock post cards, they can handle alllll the inks. I keep adding inks until I'm happy. Sometimes I dry a bit with heat tool before adding more.
I painted the moon and stamped and fussy cut the house and then painted it. After the card was dry I stamped the old tree. Then I added bats and the grave stones and the fence. again, keep in mind inks will lighten when completely dry. I used foam tape on the  house and double stick tape on the moon and attached to the card. Added a bit of orange to the windows to give more life and used white gel pen to color teeth of skull.
Yes, I often have images that go outside the card, I still need to layer this at this point but it still is outside the edges and that's okay, I just get a larger envelope if its one I'm giving away.
Also, this is one in a series of moons I will be doing in a row.
Thanks for looking, I hope you're inspired.

You Had me ..... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

This weeks project is a tag. With Valentines day looming I made art to reflect that. Enjoy!

For this tag I used several distress spray stains. First I stamped the moon. Then  sprayed the yellow on half the moon and down on the left. Then I took Two reds and sprayed all over but in short sprays to get more of a bloody look.

I did it all at the same time and then dried it with my heat tool.

Then I stamped and fussy cut my two characters. I painted them using spray stains and a paint brush.
I stamped the five hearts stamp randomly all over the tag.

I put foam tape on the backs of my characters, and "fluffed" them by bending parts of them so they are more dimensional. Then I placed them down. I used double the tape on the woman so she really stands out.
it doesn't show well on the screen, but its very dimensional.
Then I stamped the verse on a piece of cardstock, stamped the hearts and foam taped that on. done!
I hope you enjoyed this project today~ until next time, stay crafty!

Something Wicked

Hello everyone. Shanna here with some challenge inspiration!

I had a blast recreating the challenge inspiration. I haven't made a card lately and I needed some quick and simple to do. This challenge was it!

I decided to make a Halloween card to celebrate and since I haven't made a card in ages I thought this would be fun.

So first I gathered my supplies.

I started with he main image with black ink then added the moon stamp as well.

Then I inked the cardstock with Mustard Seed leaving it white around her to give a glow.

Then I did another layer with Dried Marigold.

Then I did Spiced Marmalade.

Then a layer of Hickory Smoke.

Next I added the trees with black ink as well.

I had some scrap print paper that I gave a coat of gesso.

Then stamped the sentiment Something Wicked This Way Comes.

Rubbed over it with some left over ink.

I had a scrap piece of tea bag paper and I tucked that behind the sentiment to give my card a little more. Then I used a tiny attacher to staple it to the card.

Then mounted the card with sticky tape and bam! You have yourself a Halloween card.

Here are some close up.
