Wanderlust card

Today I want to share with you one litle and very simple card.
It was made for one my friend who is the avid traveler - I think it will "hit in the topic".

In this card I wanted to show not a tutorial and not the idea!
It's just a reminder of a simple technique.

This technique is known as " stamp's increasing".  It is much easier than it is called: I took a stamp, put two (or more!) imprints, cut the individual figures and "increased" with their help that imprint, which remained intact.

I've made all aforesaid for this card.
At the same time "foreground" slightly elevated on 3d foam squares.

Sometimes using this technique you can achieve incredibly chic results! So try remember it - it is unjustly forgotten!

For this card I've used 3 Women in Tubes and Wanderlust stamps.
But I need to be honest - 3 Women in Tubes stamp I used not once but twice!

Have a creative day!

Paint, ink, two stamps, one flower... and... the card is ready!

Hi))
It's mellpellmell (Maria Potapovich) here today with you!

You know, creating cards for me for some reason is very difficult task.
I do not want to make cards with  kilos of flowers and rhinestones ... but everyone usually do so!

This time I've made it tricky - I've used the flower, just one.
And except it on my card there are only two embellishments - both are made by using stamps (wide strip with chevron and uneven quadrangle with text )!

Here is the video of my card creation:

And I'll show you the photos of the card:

I've used two stamps - Washi Chevron Background 1 1/4 x 5 1/2 and Until Further Notice 1 x 2 3/4

Hope you like simple cards...are you?

Two mixed-media collages by mellpellmell (Maria Potapovich) or "Don't ever trash your pink rubber, use the plate's number!" (c)

Hi!
It's mellpellmell (Maria Potapovich) here today.

Glad to see you <3!

Does it ever happen to you? - You throw something, and exactly a minute later it turns out for you the most necessary and essential?

That is one side.

On the other hand - if you remember that in childhood the main wealth were not the candy (although they were very important too!), but candy wrappers?

Why am I saying this?

Because when you buy a plate of stamps, DO NOT throw candy wrappers!))))) I mean do not throw away plates's numbers  - they are gorgeous as separate stamps too!

Here's an example:

Mixed-media collage "Сold April evening"

In this mixed-media collage in my art-book I've used plates' numbers.
917927 and 1436.

How do you like it?
How cool is that I do not throw it away? ;)

Well, and I will show you one more collage "Map of thoughts"

Here I used common stamps)))  Map background and Hexagon background.

These two collage made in similar colors - although, of course, they differ from each other. They are distinguished by mood, internal dynamics and also saturation...

But stamps in the first and second collage are from Viva Las VegaStamps!)))))

All the best and...  see you soon!
