By definition, a person who likes to have every element of their life orderly is called a Neat Freak. On the opposite end of the spectrum is the Slob.
My question to you is, what do you call the person who likes to be neat at home but a slob at work? That ladies and gentlemen describes no other than, yours truly. You can take a peek into the BEEHIVE and see how everything is labeled with all my bottles of Glimmer Mist facing forward. But at work, my desk can barely be seen through the mountains of paper piles - one that is actually 1 ¾” high!
Fed up with my clutter I decided to make a stab at transforming my desk. No, not with filing and organization (how fun would that be?) but with altering my rather blah post-it-note holder.
Before

(I don't work for the credit union, it was a freebie!)
I dug out my December Daily Plate, Ultra High Gloss Embossing Powder, Miracle Tape, a vintage Time Card and in no time flat – Voila, a transformation worthy of a movie starring Dolly Parton.
I added a bit of Washi tape to give the inside a bit of whimsy.
I love the way it turned out and think that my desk's appearance has been greatly improved. Next on the agenda might have to be my boring black scotch tape holder. Are you a Neat Freak or a Slob? Come on, be honest :-)

Love the post-it-note holder! No, ifs ands or buts...I'm a slob!
Great idea fun project! I love the concept of life being neat but find cleaning to be the world's biggest waste of time. 3 kids I turn around the house is a mess. Time with kids, making memories wins over cleaning every time. At least that is the excuse I use!
me??... I'm definitely a slob as well. I Love this idea! Thank you so much for sharing
Love the altered post it note holder! I am the exact opposite... quite organized at work, not at all at home...
