Just clowning around

"Just clowning around"
An art journal page made with acryllic paints and stencils.

Started with this background but then went with the flow, never have a plan when it comes to art journal pages.

1. Background made with acrylic paints. Take a sponge and drag 3 colours of acryllic page all over the paper. Then take a round sponge and make the circles with white acrylic painty.
2. Take a scrap piece of paper and stamp with Stazon Black the clown nr. 7658 and clown face nr. 6727.  Colour them with water colours and cut out. Decide where you want them to be and put aside for a while.
3. Take the circle stencil and sponge with copper acrilic paint. Do the same with the stripes.
4. Glue the clowns in place and make some shades with watercolour wax crayon.
5. Handwrite with a Pilot Permaball the text following the line outside the circle stencil.
6. Take different kinds of washi tape and glue them at the top and bottom.
7. With the Pilot pen you make some faux stitches to accent the stripes. And draw lines around some of the circles so they look like balloons.

Hope you like this page. Have fun playing around.
