Hello my fine feathered friends!
Aimee here, hoping September is treating you well!
This is my favorite time of year.
I LOVE fall. And my birthday is this month!
PART-TAYYY!!!
I have a fun card for you today, using this sweet little guinea pig stamp.
Wanna make it?
Here we go!
Supplies:
Folded card
Patterned paper and card stock for matting
Card stock for scalloped mats
Die cut swirls
White card stock for oval and for stamping
Markers
Black pen
Distress inks & handle
Little letter stickers (these are Cosmo Cricket)
Distress Stickles- Scattered Straw
Miracle Tape
Pop dots or foam tape
Fiskars cloud punch
Scrap of paper (to punch a cloud!)
Scissors
Spellbinder's dies and die cut machine
Black ink pad
Fold your card base.
Mat with two layers of paper.
I used one solid, one pattern.
Die cut two scalloped ovals and layer on the card front.
Die cut a plain oval from white card stock.
Punch out a cloud using Fiskars punch from scrap paper.
Place cloud on oval and ink around it with blue Distress Ink.
Move cloud and repeat.
Repeat until you like the way it looks,
covering the top half of the oval.
Ink bottom half of oval with green Distress inks.
Pretty!
Stamp the piggie onto the oval you inked up.
Stamp him again on a scrap of white.
Color the piggie on the scrap completely.
Color just the flower's stem and leaf on the other piggie.
Cut out the piggie on the scrap.
Layer cut out piggie over other piggie using pop dots.
I did NOT cut out the flower stem and leaf-
that's why I colored that part on the inked oval.
Cut out the flower from the scrap, and add to the inked oval, too.
Use your black pen and scribble in some grass in the background,
and scribble a shadow under the piggie.
Trim your swirls to fit the card.
Place the swirls on the card front.
Add the piggie oval using foam tape or pop dots.
Add the words using little letter stickers.
And, here's your wiener (along with a not-a-wiener!).
Charlie and Daisy playing football.
