FABULOUS by Fran Chalmers

Hi everyone!

Today I have made a tag for you!

To make the background I blended distress oxides in Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry.

I stamped the bottom of the tag for a base for my main images to stand on, and I stamped round the edge of the tag for interest, all in Versafine Clair Purple Delight.

I stamped my main images and sentiment on thick paper, coloured them and cut them out.

I glued the images onto the tag, along with the sentiment.

I scribbled round the sentiment in the same style as the edge of the tag, in black fine liner.

I added some ribbons to finish the tag off.

Ring of fire by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all!

I made a card today -I'm loving doing landscapes lately... hope you enjoy.

I've been wanting to do a volcano for a while now and finally got around to it.

I used multifarious smooth and supreme card stock about 4" x 8" and stated by using one ink color at a time and swirling on the color with the brush. I left a highlight or light area as you can see.

Next I stamped the volcano image and then used distress oxide black soot around the edges and to extend the volcano to the bottom of the card.
I kept adding black soot oxide around the edges of the card. I switched to regular distress ink pad black to work my way in further as its more transparent and what I wanted for the look as I still wanted some orange to show through. Next I stamped the rock vista stamp to get more mountain scene but I only used the bottom half of the stamp.
I also used the spray stains shown to create the hot clouds, just put on with a brush. Then I needed some bright color for the lava.. I wanted it to look hot so I used some neon acrylic paints and a small brush to put them on. also, the white smoke I put on with a brush and white pan pastel.

Next it was time for the white highlights. I used Dr.Ph.Martins bleed proof white. I put it on with a very small brush. This stuff is fantastic! It stays white! After I got all my white hot whites on, I used the white pan pastel to make more smoke. Then I stamped some trees and finally mounted my card onto layers of cardstock to finish it.

I hope you enjoyed. It was a fun card to make.

Winged Victory by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all-

Today I made a card for the project-hope you like it.

I stamped the Columned entrance and painted it in with distress oxide old paper. Then I used a watercolor marker for the bright yellow doorway.

I then used shaded lilac and spray stain and then I took a wet brush and swiped it over the black soot oxide pad and painted around he edges of the card.

I then took the black soot spray stain and painted around the edges again for a darker look. I added some saltwater taffy spray stain as well. I dried the card with my heat tool, and then flecked splatter white all around for stars. To get the rays, I used two pieces of paper  to make a "stencil" and dabbed white pigment ink with a cotton ball to get the rays.It lightens a lot when its dry.
I used a double layer of foam tape behind the woman for good dimension. Fussy cut the body and the head from snake lady. Attached the head and them painted it all. Then attached to the card.

Escape Plan - by Fran Chalmers

Hi everyone!

Today I have made a little card using a Banksy stamp

To make the background I used three different green distress inks and a finger dobber.

I stamped the wire fence on each side of the card in Versafine Clair nocturne.  Any gaps at the top or bottom were filled in with the black fine liner.

I stamped the rat on the main card, and again on some thicker paper, which I then fussy cut out.

I went round the edge of the card with Distress ink in black soot.

Before sticking the cut out image on, I added some interest in the background with the numbers stamp in Mowed Lawn distress ink.

I glued the main image on, and a sentiment which I printed on my computer.  I then matted and layered the card onto green backing card.

I hope you like it!

Covered Bridge....by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

I made a card for my project today- enjoy

To start I stamped the covered bridge. Then I used a paper towel to mask the bridge where I stamped the winter woods scene on each side.

I then used the distress spray stains and a paint brush to water color the card.
I used three different browns for the floor of the bridge. I used lost shadow DSS and Distress oxide spray-Hickory smoke together for the cement coming off the bridge. I like the effect.
I used DSS candy apple and cracklin campfire for the bridge cover.

I wanted more of a spring look So after I painted the sky and dried it,  I used the tip of the paintbrush to dot tiny green leaves all over the trees. the greens I used for the card are twisted citron and cracked pistachio. The sky was done with salvaged patina and shaded lilac. The water was done with stormy sky and salvaged patina.
And for the little cat, I used spiced marmalade. I love orange kitties! only he blended with the bridge floor too much. I tried to fix him but hes just too small.
last thing I did was take a thin brush and go over the tree trunks with scorched timber.
And I did stamp the cat twice and cut one out and popped it up on top with flat tape on his front toes so it doesn't look like he is floating...
I then layered it onto a black card and that's it!

Stamps used:
Covered bridge     20205
Winter woods scene   19793
Cat walking   2605

Other supplies:
Distress spray stains- Spiced marmalade ,lost shadow ,salvaged patina, cracked pistachio, Twisted citron, stormy sky,
candy apple, cracklin campfire, scorched timber, gathered twigs, vintage photo,  shaded lilac

Distress spray oxide- Hickory smoke
