Canvas for my entrance ► Majo

Hi, my friends.

Today, I’d like to show you the new (name) canvas on my front door. I used distress paint „Spun Sugar“ and „Lost Shadow“ for the background  and stamped the beautiful image „Nature Collage“ on tissue paper.

Distressing the edges and adding the computer generated image finished my creation.

The beautiful image in detail:

Take good care and enjoy the summer. Luv ya ♥

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE - by Fran Chalmers

Hi everyone!

Today I have made a quick celebration card for you.

To create the background I got Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed and dragged them over the card at an angle of 45 degrees to create three stripes.

To give the background some more texture, I used the corner of a background stamp with the three different oxide colours.

I stamped my main image three times on some thick paper, coloured them and fussy cut them out (which was a bit of a task in itself!)  I coloured the stars on the hats with gold glitter pen.

I stuck the three cut out images onto the card,  and stamped the sentiment black ink.

I mounted it on black card to finish it off.

Stamps Used:

Other items used:

Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade
Versafine Clair ink in Nocturn
Watercolour pencils
Clear Wink of Stella
Gold glitter pen
Charcoal pencil for shadows
Black card

See you next time!

Ring of fire by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all!

I made a card today -I'm loving doing landscapes lately... hope you enjoy.

I've been wanting to do a volcano for a while now and finally got around to it.

I used multifarious smooth and supreme card stock about 4" x 8" and stated by using one ink color at a time and swirling on the color with the brush. I left a highlight or light area as you can see.

Next I stamped the volcano image and then used distress oxide black soot around the edges and to extend the volcano to the bottom of the card.
I kept adding black soot oxide around the edges of the card. I switched to regular distress ink pad black to work my way in further as its more transparent and what I wanted for the look as I still wanted some orange to show through. Next I stamped the rock vista stamp to get more mountain scene but I only used the bottom half of the stamp.
I also used the spray stains shown to create the hot clouds, just put on with a brush. Then I needed some bright color for the lava.. I wanted it to look hot so I used some neon acrylic paints and a small brush to put them on. also, the white smoke I put on with a brush and white pan pastel.

Next it was time for the white highlights. I used Dr.Ph.Martins bleed proof white. I put it on with a very small brush. This stuff is fantastic! It stays white! After I got all my white hot whites on, I used the white pan pastel to make more smoke. Then I stamped some trees and finally mounted my card onto layers of cardstock to finish it.

I hope you enjoyed. It was a fun card to make.

Stamps used:
Volcano erupting    18151
Rock vista         1169
Skinny fir tree    19790

Other supplies:
Distress oxide ink pads- Ripe persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Carved Pumpkin, Black soot

Distress spray stain-Spiced marmalade, crackling campfire
Distress ink pad- Black soot
DR. Ph. Martins bleed proof white
Multifarious smooth and supreme card
Neon acrylic paints
Pan pastels- Black, white, orange, yellow

Filmstrip card by Cathy N

Hello and good morning, Cathy here with a fun card for you today.

                                                                     Stamps Used:
                                                                19219 whimsical elephant
                                                                17545 writing background
                                                                20572 doodle triangle

I started out cutting an die cut of a large film strip with black cardstock. Then I cut out the center die with white cardstock and smooched 3 different distress inks on a plastic sheet and the smooched it on the cardstock. I dried between colors so they wouldn't blend together.

I then stamped whimsical elephant with black ink in the middle of the card. I then added writing background in the same 3 distress colors I used on the background in the same color area. After that I stamped doodle triangle in black ink randomly on the background. Lasty, I added washi tape for the elephant to stand on and add it to the black die cut piece.

Am I cute by ~*Arwen*~

 Hi lovelies

Welcome back here :)

Today, I wanna share my newest ATC

And that's the way, how I created it:

1.) I cut my ATC to the right size and stamp my motif beforehand.

2.) Now I want to add a pattern to my ATC. To do this, I'll draw 3cm from the bottom.

3.) I now divide these lower 3cm into 1x1cm segments.

4.) Before I continue drawing my pattern, I first color the existing pattern.

5.) After that I can finish it and add shading.

6.) At the end, I color the kitten, the rest of the background, add a saying, and a few splashes of color.

All stamps I used:

- Cat paws

- Am I cute or what

other supplies:

- Watercolorpaper (Canson)

- Cardstock

- handmade watercolors

- Dylusions Shimmer spray

- VersaFine Clair

- Micron pen

- Posca white

See ya soon xx

Flower power skeleton by Cathy N

Hello Cathy, here this morning with a slimline flower power card for you.

                                                                         Stamps Used:

                                                              14097 daisy silhouette large

                                                              14091 sixties flower symbol

                                                               14094 daisy silhouette small

                                                               14905 flower silhouette small

                                                               8827 flower silhouette

                                                               14711 skeleton

I cut my piece of white paper to make a slimline card. I then stamped all the flowers in neon ink with Electro Pop inks. I haven't played with them in a bit, and I forgot how bright they are.

When I was done with that, I then stamped sixties flower symbol in black ink and then layered it on a black card base.
Lastly, I stamped skeleton on a scrap piece of white cardstock and layered it on black and put it right in the middle.

Winged Victory by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all-

Today I made a card for the project-hope you like it.

I stamped the Columned entrance and painted it in with distress oxide old paper. Then I used a watercolor marker for the bright yellow doorway.

I then used shaded lilac and spray stain and then I took a wet brush and swiped it over the black soot oxide pad and painted around he edges of the card.

I then took the black soot spray stain and painted around the edges again for a darker look. I added some saltwater taffy spray stain as well. I dried the card with my heat tool, and then flecked splatter white all around for stars. To get the rays, I used two pieces of paper  to make a "stencil" and dabbed white pigment ink with a cotton ball to get the rays.It lightens a lot when its dry.
I used a double layer of foam tape behind the woman for good dimension. Fussy cut the body and the head from snake lady. Attached the head and them painted it all. Then attached to the card.
Stamps used:
Columned  Entrance     18986
Snake lady     19113
Nike Statue    18974

Other supplies:
White brilliance pigment ink
Old paper Distress oxide spray- Use as paint
Salvaged patina, twisted citron ,Saltwater taffy ,black soot,
