Every New Year's

Hi everyone - and Happy New Year!

Today I have made a card which is just a bit of fun! I hope you like it....

First of all I made my background using Versafine Clair inks and the Color Wheel Lines stamp.

I then made some masks and added some numbers with the Numbers SetColor Wheel Lines 19338 stamp.

I coloured in some of the tiny squares with pens to add a bit of interest.

I stamped the main image on some thick paper, and coloured it in with Copic Pens. I stuck it on the main card and then went round the card with a blue Sharpie pen.

I added the sentiment after printing it off on my computer and cutting it up.  I went round the edge with a blue pencil to highlight it.

Stamps Used:

Numbers Set 19659

Aghast Lady 18766

Color Wheel Lines 19338

Other Items Used:

Versafine Clair inks in Paradise, Purple Delight and Bali Blue

Kuratake pens

Copic Pens

Blue Sharpie pen

Coloured pencils

I started off making my background for the postcard. I used 3 different distress ink colors to make it look grungy.

Next, I stamped Route 66 road sign once in black ink up in the corner and then I stamped the Motorcycle in black on the bottom of the postcard. I then took the Route 66 road sign and stamped it in different distress browns on the background.

Merry Christmas by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello and happy holidays to you all!

My card today is a Northern Minnesota view~ enjoy.

The following photos are what I used for the start of the card-

I used light modeling paste for the snow, then while wet added glitter flakes.
Then I had to decorate the tree. For the garland I used liquid pearls. Glitter glue for bulbs and lights confetti for the lights on tree.
I then made the background for the tree, A sheet of sparkle paper to look like wall paper.

I used two layers of foam tape behind the window so it would stand out far from the card.
Then I stamped and fussy cut the moose to go in front of window. I  used foam tape behind him and attached him. I used more modeling paste to glue his feet down so he didn't look like he was floating.
It didn't want to stick immediately so I held his feet down in the snow and dried with the heat tool.
I used picket fence spray stain to splatter some white snow like flecks.
Last I cut red and black card stock to make the final part of the card.
Lots of hologram and sparkle, camera just doesn't pick it up well.

Have a great what ever you celebrate and see you next year!!

Christmas tree      18932
Moose looking back      15678

The end by ~*Arwen*~

 Hi Lovelies

Welcome back!

This is my last Blog post for 2024.

I created this gift box:

And that's the way, I made it:

01.) For this project I used black photo cardboard. I didn't cut the bottom part of the box and left it at DIN A4. I scored all the edges around it once at 3cm and once at 6cm.
I adjusted the lid accordingly and scored the edge all around at 1cm and 2cm.

02.) Both parts have now been glued together well with book glue. But I would like to make the box even more stable.

03.) To stabilize it, I used bookbinding cardboard. I cut it to size so that there was still some space at the edges so that it could be closed properly at the end.

04.) After I have wrapped the two pieces of cardboard in black construction paper, I glue one into the lid and the other into the bottom of the box.

05.) To make the edges of the box look pretty on the outside, I need watercolor paper. I adjust this to the size of the box and leave a small border here too.

I do the same with the top of the lid.

06.) My next step is to stamp these stripes. For this I use silver embossing powder as an effect.

07.) All parts are now embossed and are still waiting for color. I used my homemade watercolor paint for this.

08.) The side parts of the base are now finished. All that's missing is the design of the lid. You can see what it looks like at the beginning of the post.

All stamps, I used:

- Bride of Frankenstein

- Victorian Flourish

- Bat comin' at ya

- The end is near

- Stay creepy

Other supplies:

- Watercolorpaper

- Cardstock

- Cardboard

- handmade Watercolors

- VersaFine Clair

- Embossing powder

- Ribbons

- Charm

- ScorPal

See ya soon lovelies *mwah*

May your holidays sparkle by Cathy N

Cathy here with a holiday card for you.

                                                               Stamps Used:

                                                          7718 bunny slippers

                                                          18947 medium snowflake

                                                          10659 may your holidays sparkle

I had no idea what I was going to make for today's blog post. I was going through all my VLVS and I came across bunny slippers and I immediately thought of a Christmas Story movie. Pink bunny slippers it was going to be.

I stamped them in pink ink and then colored them with pink copic markers. After that I cut out and set aside.

Next, I stamped the may your holidays sparkle saying on the front of the card. I then stamped the medium snowflake randomly over the background in black ink. I added sparkle to the middle for the snowflakes to make them pop.
