Jewlery Box by Arwen

 Hi Lovelies

Today, it's my turn to share my project with you.

This time, I created a jewlery box to store all my earrings.

And this is how I made it:

First, I built this box from chipboard, cardstock and acrylic paint:

After finished this , I chose the stamps, I wanna use:

Next step is, to cut the paper pieces, which I need to decorate my box. I need 4 pieces with same size and one for the top of the box:

Of course, only white is just boring - so I used Distress Reinker to color the paperpieces:

Last step before finishing - stamp,stamp,stamp :)

All stamps, I used:

- Raven looking up

- Bat

- Devils Trap

other materials:

- chipboard

- cardstock

- Canson Mixed Media Imagine paper

- Distress Reinker

- Waterbrush pen

- Acrylic paint

- Diamond Glaze

Bride of Frankenstein

 Hi Lovelies

This is my first Blog post as a Design Team member.

I love gloomy stuff, so I decided to use the Bride of Frankenstein for my tag.

For the background, I used a barbwire stencil and embossed it with clear powder.

I used different green tones of colour spray.

The bide's face was coloured with Distress Reinker and a water brush.

The quote was embossed with white powder.

The following two images are close-ups:

Used stamps:

Junk Journal Style Envelope Package

Hello Everyone!

I'm excited to share with you today a small paper project using
vintage paper, lace, metal elements and 2 of my favorite

They are:

The process for this project was very easy and fun! Some crunched
paper, ephemera, stamping, and stitches did the magic! I wanted to
create a vintage envelope package for a special and talented friend
who is a master at creating junk journals! I love the tiny scissors
stamp. I used it for a little tag to show that the package needs to be
opened from that side.

Here are some more pictures from this project:

Hope to provide with some inspiration for your future vintage projects.
With me, until the next opportunity my friends!

Easy any occasion card

Hello Again, Tera here!
Today I want to share a super easy any occasion card.

Stamps Used:

XO 1 x 1 1/2

To start I picked 3 colors of distress ink and smashed them on my craft mat.
Next spritz them with water so you will get a more watercolor like effect.

I then "dragged" the card through the inks. (then used my heat tool to dry)
On a separate piece of card stock I stamped the paintbrush and used black heat embossing to really get a rich black. I cut this out then glues it down on the card.

To finish everything off I stamped the XO.

See super easy!!!
I hope you feel inspired!

Banksy takes over the post again!

Hello Again!
Welcome back to another Mail Art Monday!

Today I want to share the Envelopes I made for the VLVS Banksy Mail Art swap on the
(I hope some of you joined in!)

To start I created a pair of A2 sized envelopes using my Envelope punch board and some blue watercolor looking scrapbook paper.

Next I stamped all 3 of my Banksy stamps in black Stazon ink. (stamps listed below)

I masked off my address block, with an business card that I often use as a mask.
(Hence the ink all already all over it...lol)
I traced around this with a black Micron pen.

Now to enhance the blue color, I used Distress inks in salty ocean and tumbled glass.
The stencil I used was by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous (THMS055)

Next, I added a few flicks of picket fence and black soot distress stains.
After I removed the mask I added a few doodles around the inside of the address lock with my white gel pen and a black Micron.

I hope you all enjoy these fun envelopes, and I hope you feel inspired to get inky!

VLVS and Pocket Letter Pals

Hello Everyone!!
I'm So excited to be back as a part of the VLVS design team!! I hope you all are ready for some fun stamping inspiration!!!
(It may get a little photo heavy in here)

Have you heard of the new fun craze in the crafty mail world?
It's called Pocket Letter Pals!! Read about it HERE or a short video HERE from the woman who started it.

I am in love with creating these!!!
Naturally I love creating ATC's and you know any excuse to create a decorative envelope gets me excited!! So, needless to say this new trend is right up my alley!!!

I hope you all love what I have to share with you and give it a try also! I know you will love it too!

Other supplies:
Dylusions paints (or whatever you want to create your background with)
Black Ink
Memento Ink in pink (optional used for some background stamping)
Scissors for fussy cutting the owl out
pink marker (color in top right card)
White Gel Pen (add highlights and depth)
Black Marker (to draw "hello")

I started with these super fun painted backgrounds (these two were actually created for me by my mom :D whom is also a craft addict! her blog is HERE)

(created the owl card with a cut out from this sheet)

Next I cut the paper up into individual cards measuring 2.25in x 3.25 in (if you don't want to mount yours on black standard ATC size is fine also)... NOW the fun begins!!!

(Here you can see how my layout started... {Sorry this photo is a bit washed out}
and
from the final picture you can see things have been moved around some)

I start by arranging my base cards so that they are pleasing to the eye.. then I start stamping :D I like to add something tea or coffee related since people often send these items with thier letters, so thats what I start with. my next step is usually my "Hello" or about me card. From there i tend to bounce around adding qoutes, and things that blend nicely and make me smile :D
(Feel free to simplify yours I got super excited and went stamping crazy!! )

Below are some close up - detail shots

(the boots and fish are my 2 favorites... :D )

(had to share one more close-up of this one! I love it!!)

(with VLVS there is no limit to what you can do with these things! Some prefer to work by theme, or style or even color inspiration... Heck you could do cats, dogs or things that start with a specific letter..lol)

I hope you feel inspired and as excited as I am about these! Let us know if you'd like to see more Pocket Letter inspiration!!
