May your holidays sparkle by Cathy N

Cathy here with a holiday card for you.

                                                               Stamps Used:

                                                          7718 bunny slippers

                                                          18947 medium snowflake

                                                          10659 may your holidays sparkle

I had no idea what I was going to make for today's blog post. I was going through all my VLVS and I came across bunny slippers and I immediately thought of a Christmas Story movie. Pink bunny slippers it was going to be.

I stamped them in pink ink and then colored them with pink copic markers. After that I cut out and set aside.

Next, I stamped the may your holidays sparkle saying on the front of the card. I then stamped the medium snowflake randomly over the background in black ink. I added sparkle to the middle for the snowflakes to make them pop.

Frank's wife by Cathy n

Good evening, Cathy here with a card for you.

I started out stamping Alhambra Programme  all over the card base with brown distress ink. I then sprayed it with some water so it would blur a little.
Next, I took grunge writing background and stamped it on the background in black ink. I then took a light brown distress ink and smooched it on the background.

Then I stamped Alhambra Programme  on a scrap paper and colored it with Copic markers and cut out.
After that I stamped Bride of Frankenstein and made a tag out off it.

I found some paper bits and I added them to the front of the card and added the other 2 cut outs I did.

                                                                   Stamps Used:

                                                       18628 Alhambra Programme

Halloween-ish card by Cathy

Hello, all Cathy here with a Halloween-ish card for you today.

                                                                           Stamps Used:

                                                                19563 grunge circles

                                                               19991 Alis Volat Proprits

Why I say Halloween-ish because I started out to make a Halloween card and I didn't know what I wanted to use for the main image, so I switched it up a bit. I stamped the grunge circles in an orange and purple distress ink colors around my card base. Then I took my sponge dabber that had brown distress oxide ink on it and used whatever was left on it to go around the card. I splattered some water on it to give it drips.

I decided to make a tag for the front. I took rusty hinge antique linen distress ink to make the tag background. I stamped Alis Volat Proprits with black ink and tore the tag. I edged it with distress inks.

Lastly, I added foam tape to the back of the tag added to the card base.

It's a beautiful day by Cathy N

Good morning, Cathy here with a card using an item that I haven't used in years. Chalks. That is how I colored the background of this card.

I first started out by stamping the kid in frog costume and sitting frog and grass and flowers on the bottom of the card panel. I colored it with copic markers, and I used different colors of green ink on the grass.

I then stamped smiling sun in yellow ink and colored that in with copic markers.

After I had them all colored, I needed to color the background and I thought what would be fast coverage? Chalks. I haven't used them in over 10 years.

I then layered it on black cardstock and then on a mini slimline card. Lastly, I added a snarky saying and we are done.

                                                                      Stamps Used:

                                                                7907 kid in frog costume

                                                               11124 sitting frog

                                                              2202 smiling sun

                                                             2561 grass and flowers

Candy corn haunt by Cathy N

Good morning, Cathy here with a Halloween card for you today.

I started by stamping candy corn on the bottom of some white cardstock 3 times. I then stamped the moon in the corner.

I colored the candy corn with copic markers and I then stamped the whimsical pumpkin silhouette in orange distress oxide. Then I colored the moon with copic markers also. Next, I made some grass for the Candy corn to stand on.
I felt like it still needed some work, so I grabbed a star stencil and some yellow distress ink and added some stars around the moon.
Lastly, I stamped the saying.

                                                           Stamps Used:

                                             20320 whimsical candy corn

Moonlight chat By Cathy N

Goodmorning all, Cathy here with a card for you today.

I started out using some watercolor paper and some new Lavainia Dinkles. They are powered pigment, so if you don't have them, you can use whatever you have on hand. The smaller piece of paper is the one I used for the card. I used the other to sop up the extra color. The second on is much lighter. I set these aside to dry.

Next, I stamped 12512 Fairy on moon on some white cardstock and colored with copic markers. Then I fussy cut it out.

I then stamped 19556 Wildflower silhouette on the bottom of the panel I made. After I stamped it I then trimmed the panel, so it was the same size.

The next step I did was using the 3D adhesive paste. If you use this make sure you wash your stencil off right away. It's glue so you don't want that drying on your stencil and ruin the stencil. Wait till it goes clear and you can add the deco foil to it.

Lastly, I add the cutout Fairy on moon to the top of the card and glued it to a black card base.

                                                                Stamps used:

                                                         12512 Fairy on moon

                                                         19556 Wildflower silhouette

                                                                Other stuff used:

                                                                Watercolor paper
                                                                 Livainia  Dinkles
                                                                 Sizzix 3D adhesive paste
                                                                 Deco foil (purple)
                                                                 Stencil

Dream Big by Cathy

Hello all of you. Cathy here with a card I made.

I started out with an oldie product. Distress stain. I was cleaning my craft cart and they were just sitting there on the bottom shelf.
I did one side of my paper with reds and pinks and the other side with blues. That is why you can see a bit of the red on the top of the card panel. I didn't know what one I was going to use.

I stamped the saying in blue distress ink all over the background. I did a second generation stamping with the saying. I edged the card with the same ink I stamped the saying in.
Next I stamped the boy on a separate piece of paper and colored him in with Copic markers and cut out. I then stamped the banner in 2 different colors of distress ink and cut them out too.
I glued them all together and lastly, I stamped the extra dandelion seeds randomly all over the background to fill in the space.

All how wander by Cathy

Cathy here and today I have a card for you.

I started out with watercolor paper and 3 colors of green distress inks. I smooched it on my craft mat and added some water to blend the colors. I started with the lightest color and worked my way to the darkest. I dried in-between the colors so they could layer.

Next, I grabbed a Tim Holtz dot stencil and added it the background with the darkest green ink to add a layer.

Next, I stamped the Butterfly Specimens in the middle of the panel with black ink. I then stamped Victorian Flourish with the same dark green ink. I only used a corner of the stamp. After that I then stamped Waybill background in brown distress ink randomly over the whole panel. I only used the top part of this stamp.

To finish it off I edged it in drown distress ink and on top of that I added a layer of black distress ink. Lastly, I stamped Not all who wander saying on white cardstock and layered it on black cardstock and stuck in in the middle of the card.

Stamps Used:

Butterfly Specimens

Victorian Flourish
