FUCK HEAD ► Majo

Hi Lovelies,

I made a new book mark for me, never mind the words, it’s just a mood.

I used the Victorian flowers on the background.

I stamped the silhouette flowers and the words. Both from plate 1459.

And inside the cover .....

 I love the colors.

The Stamps I used:

 19631

19646

Both from plate 1459

20343 from plate 1508

Enjoy the summer, and find time to craft

Luv ya

Colorful postcard by Cathy N

Good morning, all Cathy here with a colorful postcard for you.

I started off with some watercolor paper and distress inks. I was trying to make a smooched rainbow background, but I dried between layers instead of blending when wet.

                                                                        Stamped used:

                                                                17545 grunge 1787 background

                                                                18254 fat fish in heels

                                                                19563 grunge circles

I randomly stamped grunge 1787 background and grunge circles around the card. I then stamped fat fish in heels  4 times around the postcard.

Lastly, I added a saying to the middle.

A Friend Is Someone - by Fran Chalmers

 Hi everyone

Today I have made a postcard for you.  I hope you like it.

I made the background using Brushos and water, dabbing the card to control the brushos.

I stamped the main image on paper, coloured it in and cut it out.

I stamped the sentiment, cut the top bit off so I could separate the words, and edged them with a blue pen.

I edged the card with Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide to bring it all together.

Then I glued the image and the sentiment onto the card, and hey presto!

Stamps Used:

Other Items Used:
Brushos in Ost. Blue and Marine Blue
Distress Oxide in Blueprint Sketch
Kuretake Zig pens
Blue Felt tip pen for edging

What happend to Spongebob? by ~*Arwen*~

 Hi Lovelies

Welcome back on the VLVS Blog.

Today, I like to share a true crime story ;)

"What happend to Spongebob?"

close-ups:

Let's go and look for clues :) This is how this Art Journal page came about:

01.) First I need 2 pieces of paper. One the size of my art journal (in this case 20cm x 13.5cm) and one the size of my chosen motif.

02.) I cut out the motif on the AJ side so that only the edge of the fish bowl remains.

03.) In the next step, I stamp the inside of the fish bowl. In this case, with a pineapple.

4.) Then I color the entire picture (pineapple and fish bowl)

5.) Now I glue random little pieces of sponge on.

6.) I use Dylusion's paint spray to add some "blood splashes" to the whole thing. And then I top it off with a single googly eye :)

07.) My picture is now finished. Now I cover the edge with 3D foam. I cut a transparent film the size of the paper and spray it with alcohol inks.

08.) I then stick the foil onto my finished motif. The 3D foam creates a hollow space between the image and the foil, so that it looks like a real fish bowl.

09.) Now I have to design the empty AJ page. To do this, I take a small syringe with a fine needle, fill it with Dylusions paint spray and apply splatter patterns to the page. Now it looks like blood is squirting out of the fish bowl.

10.) To round it all off, I also glue pieces of sponge on here and of course the second eye cannot be missing.

11.) Finally, I finish designing the AJ page and glue the colored picture onto the back of the cut-out opening. Then I glue it into my art journal and finally attach the "Crime Scene" banner. Done!

Important! No sponges had to die for this project. ;)

Moonlight grave yard by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!!

Continuing on with my October vibe, is an art tag for this week...

As you know I absolutely love my mixed heavy stock paper. It can take the bombardment of liquids I throw at it and turns out great. This tag is a testament to that. I tend to keep adding sprays or paints, etc until I am happy with my project. I stamped the moon and then the tree stamp.

I started with two yellows and then dried it some and then continued with my dark colors..
You can see how wet this tag is in this pic. the next one will show after drying with heat tool.
I added more yellow down by the tree. I also added black for my clouds. adding sprays can lighten other colors you have down already- see my tree. But I am usually happy with the results. You can always go back in and repaint something that gets "bleached" out.
Once dry I went back and added to my tree branches and stamped the headstones.
I did walk away and let it dry through overnight. Things will lighten quite a bit by the next day.

You may want or need to go back in to darken some things up. I left mine as it was. I stamped the spiked fence on acetate and double stick tapped it on. I added the phrase using some TH stickers and that's it! Hope you enjoyed!

Stamps used:
Moon      20157
Old tree     19835
Cemetery   18907
Spiked fence    18919

Other supplies:
Distress spray stains-  Mustard seed, squeezed lemonade, gathered twigs, wilted violet, twisted citron

Peeking.... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all!

This cool weather is really giving the feel of fall- So Is my project this week....enjoy..

For this tag, I used the distress spray stains Dried marigold and spiced marmalade for the background. Spray the color on dry it, drip water on, dry a bit, dab off with a paper towel. repeat until satisfied. Stamp images and fussy cut.
I colored my images and stamped the spider on web line across the tag.

I glued gold holographic stars across the tag for some whimsey. Then I assembled the girl with wings and glued down. Then I added glitter glue to her horns, eyes and wings. I also put it on the web line.
" Fluff " the wings by bending them gently at  the base. For the finish, I wiped my black ink pad around the edge of the tag.
Hope you enjoyed!
