Frank by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

I just have a quick card for today but I hope you enjoy just the same.

For this card I used Memento - London fog ink pad- dye ink. I stamped the background with that. Frank was stamped with black Brilliance pigment ink on printable glow in the dark vinyl and then fussy cut out.
With more solid images, they don't always stamp perfect so I go in with a black Sharpie marker and fill in the missed spots.
I layered the green card onto a black card and used foam tape on the back of Frank so he has some dimension.
Expose card to sunlight or bright light for several minutes for the glow effect.

And that is it! Quick, fun, easy!

Moonlight grave yard by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!!

Continuing on with my October vibe, is an art tag for this week...

As you know I absolutely love my mixed heavy stock paper. It can take the bombardment of liquids I throw at it and turns out great. This tag is a testament to that. I tend to keep adding sprays or paints, etc until I am happy with my project. I stamped the moon and then the tree stamp.

I started with two yellows and then dried it some and then continued with my dark colors..
You can see how wet this tag is in this pic. the next one will show after drying with heat tool.
I added more yellow down by the tree. I also added black for my clouds. adding sprays can lighten other colors you have down already- see my tree. But I am usually happy with the results. You can always go back in and repaint something that gets "bleached" out.
Once dry I went back and added to my tree branches and stamped the headstones.
I did walk away and let it dry through overnight. Things will lighten quite a bit by the next day.

You may want or need to go back in to darken some things up. I left mine as it was. I stamped the spiked fence on acetate and double stick tapped it on. I added the phrase using some TH stickers and that's it! Hope you enjoyed!

Cemetery   18907

One wicked beast.. by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

I know its the middle of summer but Halloween is in the stores now and of coarse for me ,Halloween is every day!

I hope you enjoy my art tag for this week~

For this tag, I  used one I had in my stash that I had die cut the claw mars out of. The background is cracklin campfire and black soot spray stains. For the background seen through the claw marks, I sprayed a new tag with wilted violet and shaded lilac spray stains and then stamped the flock of bats all over.

Then I glued the two tags together.

I stamped the cat and bat wings and fussy cut them and then glued the wings to the cat.
I then stamped the hanging bats and the cemetery onto the tag. I used a white gel pen for the eyes of the bats.
I wanted the cat to stand out so I painted him in neon colors using reinkers.
I used foam tape to attach him to the tag. I used a bit of glitter glue on the green tips of his wings and  a word stick from TH. And that's it!
I hope this gets you in the Halloween spirit!

Summer....by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello all ! Hope you are enjoying the weather-we are! Except the mosquitos found me as always.

Hence my art tag for today....

I started with a mixed media heavy stock tag. I sprayed Three colors of Distress spray stains and then dried it. I then used a fine paint brush to paint the grass. I used two different colors.

I also fussy cut my lady and painted her. always make sure too paint the edges of your cutout. It makes a big difference. I put foam tape on the back of her so she stands off the tag a bit.
Then I started stamping some bugs around. I stuck my lady on the tag and continued to stamp bugs..
I used glitter glue on their wings and painted the rest of the bugs. I used my computer to generate the phrase and stuck that on and that is it!
Hope you enjoyed!

I do what I want... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

Today I made a card for the blog-

For todays card, I wanted to do a watercolor. I stamped the image on mixed media heavy stock. it can really take a lot of medium weather its paints or water or whatever.

I stamped with black versafine clair and dried it with my heat tool. didn't want any smearing. Then I sprayed my TH stains into the plastic pallet. Then just start painting.

I chose the colors for the impression of innocence to go with the snarky sentence .For the blue background, I first went around with my wet paint brush and then took color just out of the cap of the bottle of salvage patina. I wanted it real light.

I dried the card, and then cut my cardstock for the layers and put it all together. Last, I put the sticker sentence on and carefully painted it yellow to match the card. And that is it! I hope you enjoyed!

Surprised girl         5554

Distress spray stains: Salvaged patina, Saltwater taffy, picked raspberry, antique linen, Victorian velvet, tattered rose, squeezed lemonade.

Spring..... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

Hopefully we're all done with the snow now- So my project for today is an art tag for Spring!

I started by stamping the tree of life stamp, then the face.
Then I cut out some masks for the eyes so I could color them later. I used a post it note for the mask. Then I sprayed Spray stains until I was happy, then dried with heat tool and repeat until I had it how I wanted.

I also used a paint brush on my brown ink pad to put some branches in the tree.
Then I painted her eyes and lips and added some blue at the bottom corner of the tag for balance.

I stamped the mushrooms and fussy cut and then painted it, gathered some paper flowers and hot glued them on. I added some white gel pen details to the mushroom caps.
Then I stamped the insects and used sparkle gel pens on them.
Last, I found some sentiments from my TH sticker tablet and glued them on. I find they tend to fall off if not glued.
Hope you enjoyed!

Ray of sunshine.... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

For todays blog project, I decided to start an art journal.

Here is the first page.

To start out, I sprayed spray stains and some water
I then dried that and painted on some twinkling H2os paints. Then I sprayed black soot spray over all and dried that.

Once dry the sparkly paints showed through very nicely. hard to show on camera but its very subtle and pretty. Next I stamped my girl and wings and cut them out. I decided to leave them uncolored since the page is so dark already,
I found some hand made paper in my stash and tore that and glued it down. I also used some washi tape for added interest. I glued that down as well since it likes to lift off.
Before putting paper on, I stamped bats all around. after paper is on I stamped the headstones. also a note, To help protect the next page I used a larger  thin tag board in-between. You could also use shrink wrap. next, I attached the wings to my girl and put foam tape behind her and stuck her on the page. I stamped the saying and used foam tape on that as well.
And that is it! The note book is by Canson and is labeled mixed media. There are 30 pages and its 5.5 x  8.5 " and the paper weight is 138 pound. I tend to used a lot of water and paint so I wanted a paper that could handle it. I'm very happy with it.
