Welcome back on this Blog.

My project for today is a new Art Journal page.

Close-ups:

And thats the way, I created it:

1.) I use watercolor paper measuring 13.5cm x 20cm. I round off the outer corners. Then I stamp my first picture.

2.) Then I want to draw a UFO in the upper part of the page. To do this, I use a circle stencil.

3.) Before I finish drawing the UFO, I stamp the next image. To do this, I mask the UFO so that I don't stamp over the edges.

4.) I finish drawing the outline of the UFO with a Micron Pen. I add details later, after I have colored it.

5.) I now begin coloring with my handmade watercolor paint. I start with a beam that falls from the UFO onto the alien.

6.) I painted the background with gouache paint. Before I add the final touches, I stamped some text onto the art journal page. Then I added stars using a stencil.

Welcome back here on the VLVS Blog.

This time, I wanna share my newest art journal page.

And that's the way, how I made it:

1.) I used watercolor paper from Canson and colored it with the "Tropicals" watercolors from Prima.

2.) After coloring the whole sheet, I used a tiny sponge, Distress Oxides and a no named stencil.

Background color is "Hibiscus" (type of orange)

3.) To use the stencil, I choose these two Distress Oxide colors - Seedless preserves and Picked raspberry.

4.) Adding some stamps on my background with ColorBox Chalks and Distress Oxide.

5.) To create my new creature, I used masks and my stamping plattform.

Now it's time to cut it out and give it some color :)

Result - a new aj page at the top of this posting .

Today, I'm on the Blog with a new art journal page :)

And that's, how I made it:

First, I placed masks of my chosen images to create the background...

I used a stencil with texture paste...

Let it dry...

After coloring the background with shimmer spray, I remove the masks...

Now, coloring the images with Distress Reinker...

After coloring and cutting out the images, I stick them with foam pads onto my finished background.

After all, I colored the white parts with  darkgrey ink. Finished!

Today I wanna share my newest Art Journal. 

I created a new creature from several stamps .

I stucked the creature with 3D pads so it pops out of the background :)

I also made some close-ups :

Instead of his original headpiece, I used fibres.
