Mass Make March tags by Cathy N

Good morning, Cathy here with a quick mass make march make of tags.

                                                              Stamp Used:

                                                         20694 railroad tag.

What I did was stamp a bunch out on some brown paper.

I then cut them all out and edged them with brown distress oxide ink.

Now next time I need a tag to fill a space I have a whole bunch ready to go.

Not everything has to be a finished project, you need bits and pieces along the way to make it complete.

Waiting for water by Cathy N

Goodmorning all, Cathy here with a mini slimline card for you today.

                                                                    Stamps Used:

                                                             11045 dragon in pool

                                                             19928 water pipe

I started off with some watercolor paper and making the background. I used distress oxide inks for it.

Next, I stamped the grunge circles in the blue distress oxide ink around the background.

After that I stamped the dragon in pool and colored him with copic markers.

Lastly, I added the water pipe on top of the card, so it looks like the dragon is waiting for the water to come out of it.

TWO FUN ATC'S by Fran Chalmers

Hello again everyone!

Today I have created two ATC's - little pieces of art.  They are both very different, despite being on the same background.  I hope you like them.

The background was from my stash, which I made ages ago on a gelli plate with acrylic paints.

I stamped the images onto the background, and also onto some good quality paper.

I coloured the images on the paper.  For the beetle I used glitter pens, which showed up the body well.  For the dog I used pencils.

I cut out the body of the beetle and the dog and glued them onto the stamped images on the ATC.

I stamped the sentiments on card which I had coloured in a similar tone to the background with Speckled Egg distress oxide. I edged them in gold (beetle) and black (dog), and also went round the edge of the ATCs in the same colours.
The "Beautiful" sentiment is part of the Banksy Life is Beautiful stamp.

Stamps Used:

Other Items used:

Speckled Egg Distress Ink
Coloured Pencils
Glitter pens
Memento Tuxedo Black ink

I believe

  Hello everyone,

Welcome to the blog where today I am sharing a postcard.  I love rainbow colours so today I went for those. I never tire of them.

Here's how I made it:

First I coloured the background by dunking it in ink smooshed mixed with a spray of water on my craft sheet. I dried it in between colours.

Next I added some stencilling with white acrylic paint and using the same paint and a brayer I added some white here and there on the card.

Next I stamped the background using the same inks and a black Versafine.

I then stamped the lady on the card and on a piece of blank book paper. I also stamped the sentiment. With a piece of cut and dry foam I inked the edged of the card using Versafine.

I used some washitape to ground her and added a little bit in the right top corner to balance the card.
Lastly I added the lady and the sentiment.

I have used the following stamps:

Other materials:
MM card stock
Distress Oxide inks
Versafine Clair Ink
White acrylic paint (Amsterdam)
AALL & Create Washi tape
book paper

Thank you for stopping by today !

Artjournal pages by Corrie

 Hello everyone,

For today's post I have made a double artjournal spread. It is very colourful so get your sunglasses out!

Here's how I made this:

I used these Distress Oxide inks and a blending tool to add colour to my pages. I put the ink straight on the paper of my art journal. This is a Moleskine sketch book.

Next I dropped some water on it.

I then stamped the background using the same inks and some darker shades of the same colours.

Adding some black stamping and inking around the edges to frame the pages and some white splatters from a paint pen.

The focal. I love this stamp. She looks very regal.

I added some pink to her cheeks. The sentiments are clippings stickers by Tim Holtz.

I have used the following stamps:

Apart from the stamps I used:
Distress Oxide inks in rainbow colours
Versafine Clair Nocturne ink
White paint pen

This is not a photo opportunity.

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to the VivaLasVegaStamps! blog where today it is my turn to share a project. This time I have made an art journal spread and I had to use some of the new Banksy inspired stamps again. Love them !

As soon as I saw this rat and the girl on the stool I knew that I wanted to make these AJ pages!
I started with a blending tool and adding inks. I used Distress Oxide inks, Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade. I then used a brayer and white paint and toned it down, especially along the edges. I then added some random stamping and used a circle stencil with more white paint.
I stamped the main images and gave them a little hint of colour, adhered them to the page on top of some washi tape. Lastly I added splatters, doodling and the sentiment of course which I think was apt for the scene.

I have used the following stamps:

Banksy wasn't here

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to the blog today ! I have a made a colourful postcard this time and I had t ouse some of the new Banksy inspired stamps.

and here's how I made it:

First I coloured my paper with Distress Oxide inks by dunking it in the ink and water pools on my craft sheet. I dried in between layers.

Next I added some random stamping using the same inks plus some grey and black Versafine Clair.

Next, I went around the edges with black acrylic paint. When that had dried I stamped the words directly on the card and the man on a piece of separate paper. I then cut him out.

And here is the finished card. I added some washi tape and placed the man in it to ground him. He looks like to be spray painting. I did add some more drips under the words.
I found the top to be too empty so I added a sentiment, using black ink on white card because I thought some more white would be good. And that finished it off.

I used the following stamps:
