Twilight by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello everyone! Spring is in the air!

Hope you enjoy the card I did for this project!

For this card I used glossy card stock and dye inks and latex make up sponges.
Get the sponge good and inked up and start swiping the ink on.  The wetter the card gets the more it will slide nicely and not leave unwanted marks. start with the lightest blue first.
Then add in some green in a few places.
Then some pale violet...
Then a darker blue...swipe in a few places, not the whole card.

Then a darker blue and then black . swipe in from the outside edges. also, keep in mind your card will lighten up a lot as it dries. give it 24 hours and you will see a difference

When you re happy with your background, stamp your main image(s) in black memories or staz on ink..
let it dry. Then Layer with colored cardstock.
Pro tip- I used versaclair black ink and if you try to do any additional inking over that it will smear right off.. if you are done, then it works fine. The key to this technique is lots of waterbased dye ink so the colors slide around easy. You can even use paper towels or cotton balls to put the color on.
Hope you enjoyed!

Something Wicked

Hello everyone. Shanna here with some challenge inspiration!

I had a blast recreating the challenge inspiration. I haven't made a card lately and I needed some quick and simple to do. This challenge was it!

I decided to make a Halloween card to celebrate and since I haven't made a card in ages I thought this would be fun.

So first I gathered my supplies.

I started with he main image with black ink then added the moon stamp as well.

Then I inked the cardstock with Mustard Seed leaving it white around her to give a glow.

Then I did another layer with Dried Marigold.

Then I did Spiced Marmalade.

Then a layer of Hickory Smoke.

Next I added the trees with black ink as well.

I had some scrap print paper that I gave a coat of gesso.

Then stamped the sentiment Something Wicked This Way Comes.

Rubbed over it with some left over ink.

I had a scrap piece of tea bag paper and I tucked that behind the sentiment to give my card a little more. Then I used a tiny attacher to staple it to the card.

Then mounted the card with sticky tape and bam! You have yourself a Halloween card.

Here are some close up.
