Card with rotation wheel - by Arwen

Today I wanna share my newest card. It's a card with a rotation wheel (including four images)

First, I show it on this video:

Here is a summary of all 4 variations:

And that's the way, how I made it:

1.)I punch a smaller circle, a large circle with prongs, and a matching circle without prongs. In the small circle I punch a hole in the middle.

2.) I connect the small circle to the large jagged circle using a brad. The brad's head is pointing downwards. Then I glue 3D pads to the underside.

3.) I position my wheel on the back of my card and mark the section I want to punch out.

4.) Now I punch half a circle so that the jagged circle sticks out a bit.

 

 

 5.) Now I need a cutout for my rotary wheel. You can use punches - I did it by hand here.

6.) Now I can attach my rotating wheel to my card blank.

7.) I can now design my spinning wheel. You have to make sure that the pictures fit into the section of the card.

8.) When I've finished designing my circle and my card, I glue the circle to the serrated wheel. I stick 3D pads on the back of the card and glue these to my blank. The rotation wheel card is ready.

Exotic

 Hi Everyone, 

For today's project I have made a postcard! 

And here's how I made it:

First I dunked the card in to Distress Oxide inks that I smooshed on my craft sheet. I did add some water too. 

Next I stamped the background and inked the edges of the card. 

I then stamped the focal image on the card because the one I stamped to colour, I cannot cut out perfectly so I just glue it over the top of this one. Looks perfect ! 

Here I have glued the coloured and cut out image over the top of the one on the card. 

I have used the following stamps: 

20473 - Tina Walker Big eyed scribble girl

20682 - Surgery & Midwifery textbook

20676 - Sheet of newsprint

19567 - Writing circles background

I also used:

Do you have cats?

I have three and I can't imagine to live without.

So I create this mailart envelope for today - of course with cats 😻

Today, I wanna share my newest postcard. 

some close-ups:

And that's the way, I made it:

1.) Choosing  the right stamps and stamping the first picture on my watercolor cardstock.

2.) Masking the first image, so I can stamp the second one directly onto it.

3.) Masking both images, because I wanna make some embossing effects.

4.) I used  VersaMark and clear powder.

5.) Using watercolor to create my background.

6.) Colored the edges with an ink pad and a tiny brush.

7.) After coloring the images with Distress Reinker, I added some tiny crosses with Distress Oxide.
