Tag Tuesday by Cathy N

Good morning, Cathy here with a tag Tuesday for you.

I started out with some white tags, and I made 2 backgrounds. I used distress ink to make them. I really don't like these tags because they have a smoothness to them that doesn't like to take ink.

This is not what I had in mind when I started making this tag. I happen to get my grab bag when they had a sale on them today, so of course I had to play with my new stamps.

I started stamping the Apocalypse and the Bullet Hole randomly around the tag. Next, I stamped the Gas Mask on some white cardstock and colored it with copic markers and cut out.

I then saw this embossed brick paper that I had left over from another card I had made and thought that would be perfect for an apocalypse tag Tuesday. So, I cut it down, so it looked broken and then added the Gas Mask to the front of it.
Lastly, I edged it all with some black ink.

BANKSY Favourites by Fran Chalmers

Hi everyone!

Today I have made a card using some older but favourite Banksy stamps.

 I star
ted with a background that I made a while ago on a gelli plate using brushos, and at the time I didn't like it, but it seemed perfect for these stamps.

I used a stamping platform to stamps the main image as I wanted it to be very black.

I stamped the safety pin around an ink splatter.  I marked the back of the stamp to help me see where the gap in the safety pin is.

I stamped the sentiment, and finished off the card by drawing an edging round the card with a fine black liner and coloured the skirt of the Mom to pick up the orange colour in the background.  I then mounted it onto a black card.

Stamps Used:

Pin through paper 19946

Other items used:
Blank black card
Brushos
Gelli plate
Black fine liner pen

Come what may by Cathy N

Good morning, all Cathy here with a postcard for you.

I started with white cardstock and cut it to 4x6. Then I grabbed a stencil and some green distress ink and make the background. I went around the edge with the leftover ink and blended the edges out.

First, I stamped grungy strip of stars on the bottom of the postcard. Next, I stamped girl with wings on top of the stars so it looks like she is standing on them.

I then stamped the striped border arrow twice on the top and edged it with black marker, I also filled in the open areas with a white pen

Lastly, I stamped the writing and scribbles collage on one side and then on the other. To finish it off I added a saying.

                                                                        Stamps Used:

                                                              20247 grungy strip of stars

                                                              19202 striped border arrow

                                                              20695 writing and scribbles collage

I do what I want... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

Today I made a card for the blog-

For todays card, I wanted to do a watercolor. I stamped the image on mixed media heavy stock. it can really take a lot of medium weather its paints or water or whatever.

I stamped with black versafine clair and dried it with my heat tool. didn't want any smearing. Then I sprayed my TH stains into the plastic pallet. Then just start painting.

I chose the colors for the impression of innocence to go with the snarky sentence .For the blue background, I first went around with my wet paint brush and then took color just out of the cap of the bottle of salvage patina. I wanted it real light.

I dried the card, and then cut my cardstock for the layers and put it all together. Last, I put the sticker sentence on and carefully painted it yellow to match the card. And that is it! I hope you enjoyed!

Stamp used:
Surprised girl         5554

Other Supplies:
Distress spray stains: Salvaged patina, Saltwater taffy, picked raspberry, antique linen, Victorian velvet, tattered rose, squeezed lemonade.

Verse-TH93704 small talk - snarky   stickers

cardstock
white gel pen- for the eye whites

Annual calendar by ~*Arwen*~

 Hi Lovelies ❤

Welcome back here *mwah*

Today, I like to share the annual calender, I'd made for my sisters Birthday.

Every year I give her a calendar that starts on her birthday and goes through her birthday the following year.

some close-ups:

And that's the way, how I made it:

1.) First I gather all the materials I need. These are: gray cardboard, cardstock, book corners, binding rings, ribbon.
I cut the gray cardboard to the dimensions 11cm x 15.3cm. I need this twice.
I need cardstock to wrap the cardboard. There should be enough space all around so that the cardboard is generously framed. You will also need 2x cardstock measuring 10.5cm x 14.8cm.

2.) To make it easier to wrap the cardboard, I fold the paper all around beforehand and then cut the corners with a craft knife. Then I glue all 4 sides to the inside.

3.) On one of the two cardboard covers, which will be the back of the calendar, I stick a ribbon as a bookmark in the middle of the top edge. To be on the safe side, stick 2-3cm inside the lid so that the tape holds well.

4.) Now I stick the cardboard covers on the inside with the cut cardstock pieces (dimensions: 10.5cm x 14.8cm)

5.) I now punch the holes for the binding with my Zutter machine.

6.) Now everything is put together. The prescribed pages by hand with the calendar contents. Attach book corners to protect the edges and thread the binding. The binding is completed again with the Zutter. I use watercolor paper as the cover sheet to design. I adjust the size so that there is a small border all around.

All stamps I used:

- Whimsical Leaf Lady Face

- Whimsical Leaf

other supplies:

- Cardboard

- Cardstock

- Watercolorpaper

- VersaFine Clair

- Ribbons

- handmade watercolors

- Book corners

- Labelwriter

- Brads

See ya soon ❤
