Manly men....

I have a ton of stamps and I got to thinking that I don't have nearly as many men stamps as I do women and other various stamps.  I thought this would be a good time to pull out some of my man stamps and do a series on the opposite sex! haha

and I had these super cute little silk bow ties that I had bought from the Dollar Store and they fit on PERFECTLY with this stamp!! Here is a close up of the little bow tie, I love it!!

I used the Nerdy guy stamp
and the Man with moustache stamp
and last but not least the Muscle man stamp
I hope you enjoyed these manly men ATC's and until next time,

Pirate Otto.

Hello!!  It's Mary here, bringing you a clean and simple (CAS) card.

I decided to color up this sweet Pirate Otto image---because I love him!!  C'mon, how sweet is he??!

I simply stamped him onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with Memento ink in Tuxedo Black and then colored him up with a variety of Copic markers.

A bit of Rock Candy Stickles and some doodling with a Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen...

...along with this awesome Dream Big sentiment and I have myself a sweet and simple card, ready for givin'.

Ok, that's it for me :-)  I hope you have a most FABULOUS day!!

xx Mary

Dream Big

Hermine here again. This time I decided to make a tag but with a differnt topper. Tags are so versitile, I love them.

step 1: take a piece of cardstock and color it with several colours acrylic paint.
step 2: stamp with Stazon Black the tekst Pure imagination 19041 on the right hand side and draw some lines with a micron pen black.
step 3: take a piece of cardstock and stamp the unicorn 19044, cut our and colour it slightly. Glue onto the background.
step 4: take a tiny piece of cardstock and stamp Dream Big 19047, cut to size and make a hole on the left hand side.
step 4: take a piece of cardstock and colour it with distress inks but sponging the side and glue a piece of lace at the bottom.
step 5: Assemble the tag by stapling with a stapler without staples the 2 cards to eachother. Use the hole on the left hand side to ty the tekst dream big. Take a little cloth hanger (I found in my stash) put some clips on and hang the tag.

Hope you like it.
Warmly Hermine

Mail Art Madness!

Hello again!!!
It's me Tera here again to share with you one of my favorite things to do with my rubber stamps... Making Mail Art!
I love beautiful Envelopes! Opening a mailbox that has a pretty envelope inside can really brighten your day! (Or at least it does mine)

You don't have to cover the envelope like I did in these two, Even a few stamps or color can really some cheer to your outgoing mail!!  (Yes you can really mail them like this, just as long as the Post Office can clearly read the address you can add as much as you'd like)

Below are two of my older examples of mail art as well, You may recognize the last one, but i'm sharing its so you can see it has indeed been postmarked and made it to it's destination :)

Stamps Used in this Post:

Pen Tips 2 3/4 x 2

Paris Address 1 1/2 x 3 1/4

I hope I'm not missing any, but if I am and you'd like help finding it just leave a comment below and I'll help you find it :) I hope this inspires you to make some pretty mail!
(Or even to just break out your stamps and get to playing!!)

Friends Forever {mixed media scrapbook layout}

bottom right banner, Friends, ALLassiter, VLVS
Hello stampers; it's Amy here today, to share a scrapbook layout I created, using a picture of my youngest daughter Ivy, and her best friend, Mollie. They've been friends for a long time now (well, a long time when you're almost 12)...and they are almost like sisters when they're together. I recently took them out for a "best friends" photo shoot, and got some really cute shots. I just couldn't wait to create some work with them.
Friends Forever, FULL, ALLassiter VLVS
I started with a patterned paper that I burned the edges on (in a safe, controlled way), and brushed and flicked on distress stain and gesso. I then tore another paper into thirds, and used 2 of the 3, stapling and using miracle tape to adhere them. As my next step, I added splashes and flicks of blue and green toned paint. corner lace, Friends, ALLassiter, VLVS
When the paint was dry, I began to stamp the background, using the coffee ring stain and the fabulous new color wheel lines stamps. For the next stampy layer, I randomly used the checkerboard background, cursive writing background, torn paper , and adventure awaits stamps, as well as some hand doodled circles. top stamping, friends, ALLassiter, VLVS
Next, I layered up some strips of more patterned paper, fibers and washi tapes, and cut a swirling flower from the Prima paper, to create more layers of color and texture. Top left banner, Friends, ALL, VLVS
To finish things up, I stamped the chevron banner , using Faber-Castell design memory craft big brush pens, and the moon circle onto UmWowStudio chipboard, and throughout the background.

Thanks so much for having a look today!! Stay tuned for more inspirado! You can visit me here, if you fancy a trip to the land where the gnomes of creativity live. ;)

Wish

Time to make a wish! Diana Fisher here with you today to share a fun, bright card.

I have a very simple and quick card for you today. I used one 4" x 6" card from Elle's Studio (cut down to 4" x 5.5") and centered it on my card front.

The gorgeous Blowing Dandelion and Extra Seed stamp is stamped at the lower part of the card using VersaFine Onyx ink.

The tiny little extra seed is then stamped in the upper left corner to look like it is blowing away. Then I added the WISH lettering (also from Elle's Studio).

In the top corner I added a little bit of washi tape and an enamel star sticker just for added dimension and texture.

I love the whimsy of this card! It could be used for birthday, thinking of you, missing you… so many things start with a wish.

...dream...

When you're 2, you always dream - about dragons and princesses, about fairies and unicorns, about candy and bike...

When you're 22, you dream about a new dress and new heels, about chic work and cool party, about the great future and tremendous opportunity...

When you're 92, you may not have anything to dream, but you still continue to do it!..

I've used: Leaves Blowing From Tree and Dancing Lady  stamps and some aquarelle.

If you want to wish good luck to someone, then wish him good dreams - without dreams life is dreary and unpromising ...

Dream every second!

Work funnies part 2

Hi everyone, as promised I have the 2nd part of the work funnies series!  I made 3 more ATC's covering this subject and had a lot of fun making these and finding just the right stamps for each card, which let's face it isn't hard with the amazing selection here!

To make these I used the fabulous I don't do mornings lady stamp
I believe the lady talking on the big old school cell phone has been retired as I couldn't find her in the online store.

I hope you enjoyed this series and it gave you a chuckle! Until next time,
